New years in the clouds

Crestline, in the San Bernadino Mts over New Years - THIS New Years it rained nearly the whole time and we were 'stuck' in a fantastic little mtn cottage. Boo hoo, us, right? Awesome property, super-fun hang/TV/Kitchen+dining upstairs and a just perfect sleeping araingments for all of us (2 adults, 2 @ 3-5 yo)downstairs (used upstairs BR as a stuff-stash room). Being stuck inside, HERE, was awesome - lots of pizzles, lego, magnet tiles and movies. Rivian-OK parking too (has cement slab! Many nearby properties had a wooden truss platform for parking that i wouldnt trust without verificiation of weight cap. For our heavy truck), and easy-grade front door for walking pups. Weather was atypical for Socal for sure and would not hold this against the place - ventures out, when rain stopped, offered wacky views of the mtnsides + Riverside and also SIDES of clouds - super low clouds often burst UP the mtnside and made for dramatic experiences. Went on hikes, went into town (Goodwins is a riot) what a way to end 2022 and open up 2023. Ty for sharing your home - now nobody go and request to reserve it the next time we'd like to go into the mtns :)

Relaxing stay

Loved the proximity of cabin to the lake! We had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the downtime in Crestline. We especially loved the outdoor grill and deck. Great communication with Paula too.

Steep stairway unexpected

We enjoyed the cabin, it was very clean, but the pictures make it appear larger than it is and we did not expect the steep stairway to the downstairs bedrooms. All in our part were 70 yrs and older. it was hard to keep the upstairs cool. However, we enjoyed our stay very much. This is my second experience with VRBO and will use them again in the future.

Very clean and comfortable

Everything went smoothly, good communication with host Enjoyed our stay, close to lake Nice outdoor space on deck but actually spent every day at the lake. Would definitely rent this cabin again. Comfortable living area for eating and watching TV at night and comfy beds too!

They really thought of everything! Aside from our clothes and food, this place had it all!

Our family had such a great time staying here, we can’t wait to book our next trip back! The house was clean and I loved the decor. The beds were really comfortable and the bedding/sheets were so nice and soft! We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and BBQ dinner on the deck every night. The deck was my favorite part! The trees provided great privacy and string lights for nice ambience. Really enjoyed having our morning coffee and our dinner out there every night- so relaxing after a day at the lake. The kitchen had everything we needed to prep and cook our meals. There is nice cutlery and dishes for at least 8 people. There was plenty of extra bath towels, dish towels, and sheets/blankets. Fully stocked toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher tabs. The location was conveniently close to the lake. We didn’t attempt to walk since we had our little boy and the street is pretty steep. Thank you again for a lovely stay!

Charming and comfortable cabin

Our stay was great at this cozy cabin. Very clean, all the amenities we needed, great communication with the owner. Totally recommend this place!

At home comfort

The home was conveniently located to our wedding venue and offered everything for us to be able to prepare meals as well as super comfortable environment. The parking situation was perfect! The only want was a washer and dryer but we packed enough for the weekend! We highly recommend this home !

In the clouds

We had a wonderful stay in this area. The property was well kept and stocked with all the essentials. We did learn that the clouds move in quite frequently in the winter months and you can’t see to drive - so plan accordingly because the drive is scary when you can’t see where you are going.
