Cozy lake home ready for your family vacation! Enjoy kayaking and boating on Eagle Lake! A large deck and over 50' of lake frontage, along with incredible views of spring-fed 390-acre Eagle Lake in Southwest, Michigan, await you. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets are on the menu.

The lake bottom in front of the home is sandy and shallow - perfect for kids, families and friends. Mid-2000s 22 foot / 50 hsp pontoon (May 1st - mid October) and kayaks included!

Located about 100 miles east of Chicago, and south of Grand Rapids, MI. Less than 25 minutes down to Notre Dame's campus! Why stay anywhere else for football games? And easy day trips to Southwest Michigan's wineries and breweries can be arranged.

Family Destination

My family of 12 stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate my mom’s 70th birthday. The house was great for the size of our group. The one room with the two couch/beds are pullout trundles that we couldn’t tell from the photos. Check in/check out process was easy. The house was clean and had plenty of towels, beach towels, life jackets, etc. We did run out of hand soap, toilet paper, and paper towel- may want to bring some for your stay. Would recommend to anyone and we may make it a yearly destination.

Family Get Away

Lake was quiet and beautiful. Deck was enjoyable. House was large and offered plenty of room for a large family.

Lake family Fun!

We loved our time on Eagle Lake. This house was very clean and comfortable. These were the best rental house beds I have ever slept on. We had one issues with the awning and the owner sent a maintenance person right away. It had everything we needed in the kitchen. The sandy area for swimming in front of the house is great it did lack a beach but had plenty of ladders to get in the shallow clean water. We used the pontoon with no issues. This is a busy a recreational lake and the houses are close together, but we enjoyed being close to restaurants and stores. Overall we had a fabulous week and would rent again.

great vacation

lovely lakeside home. Very clean and comfortable, flexible sleeping spaces. Nice kitchen with furnishings. Communication with owners exceptional, during our stay, by text. Be aware the lake "entrance" is a seawall...no sand or beach at all.

Very nice stay. Nice house, lake and use of pontoon. Fishing was only fair but kids/grandkids loved it.

Great place to stay

With this lake house, the pictures understate the property. Great location, great deck, great furniture, plenty of space, and the boat was even available for a trek around the lake! Everyone had a great time. Would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful lakefront property

We had a great stay at this beautiful lake house. Beds are very comfortable, the view is spectacular and being able to use the pontoon was perfect.

Great Place!

This house is perfect! We had a great time and the kitchen really does have everything you could need - with the exception of kitchen towels/wash cloths. There are plenty of Beach/boat towels and blankets and bath towels. It was so nice we didn't have to co-mingle them. There is a game closet with a great assortment of games/puzzles. The boat had clearly been loved hard and took a bit to get started, but once it did was a huge hit! There were also a large assortment of kids life vests in one of the closets. It very comfortably sat 8 of us. A couple things of note to future renters: Bring Ice and drinking water. There are two icemakers in the fridge and they are both slow and the ice smells. I would not recommend it for drinks. Bring Kitchen towels/rags. Those with younger kids or maybe elderly that has trouble getting around - there are a couple different levels in the main living area. It is one big step down (or up) from the living room that wraps around the dining room. From the first floor bedroom (with the Green couches) there is also what my mom calls a "toe stubber" step. It's just enough to cause you to trip. Outside of having to hold a 16 month old's hand up and down the one step it wasn't a big deal at all! If we come to the area again we would absolutely stay here again. We had a great trip and Brooke was a great host! 10/10 would recommend :)

Michigan getaway

Brooke was an amazing host and if there was ever a question we had, she responded in minutes. The house itself was better than advertised, with ample living space in the home and the views of the lake were beautiful on the pontoon boat. I would absolutely recommend this house to any group looking for a lake weekend in Michigan.

Great Place to Stay

Overall everything was great. The house was plenty big for 2 families and we enjoyed fishing off the boat on beautiful Eagle Lake. The fishing was great and my boys enjoyed themselves. Not really a huge deal but there was a bad smell from the icemaker (took us a while to figure out what it was), we had to keep emptying the ice just something to consider fixing. Really not that big of a deal but just an fyi. Otherwise we really had no issues and really enjoyed ourselves. Plenty of towels, the kitchen had everything you needed to cook and the view from the sitting room was even more gorgeous than the pictures.

Canary Cove Is a Perfect Vaca Spot

We stayed at Canary Cove and loved the house and property. Everything was very clean and any questions we had were promptly answered right away. The lake front is clean and sandy and great for swimming. Plenty of space for big dinners and gathering with your family. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful!

Canary Cove is a wonderful place to vacation! The pictures don't do it justice. The house is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and equipped with everything you might need. We highly recommend it.

Eagle Lake at its best!

Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. The house was very clean and decorated well. The included pontoon was such a nice perk to the house and definitely contributed to a fun stay! The sunsets were perfect to watch from the deck or living room. The manager was flexible, accommodating, and very helpful. One of the better hosts I’ve had. Parking is ample. We seemed to have everything needed provided in the house: plenty of beach towels, shower towels, blankets, kids life jackets, kayaks, cooking supplies, etc. We will be back!
