Noisy but great location

The location for the stay was excellent, you are across the street from the beach and close to everything you may need. That being said the unit is outdated and very tight to move around in. The AC unit sounds like a freight train when it comes on. The bathroom vent also makes a loud awful noise. The unit was clean upon arrival but needs some TLC. The pullout bed in the living room was thin and is ok for a young child but anyone over 13 would probably not get any sleep. The queen mattress in the one bedroom was lumpy and very soft.

Big Number Birthday 🎉

It was my husband’s Birthday and we decided to come back to Galveston to catch some fish, have beach time and relax! These vacay condos are an excellent opportunity to get beach views and quick walking access to the beach. Clean property. Clean room. Clean pools. Was an amazing trip!

AMAZING STAY

This was our first VRBO and THIS rental was amazing! The side view looked out over to the beach, everything was CLEAN CLEAN, had shampoo and body wash provided, lots of towels (not for beach use) but still nice to have, dishes, papertowels provided in the kitchen area, tv was a roku tv with provided subscriptions and a friendly welcome packet. Absolutely worth the money and VERY kind owners, shelby gave me a call and asked if we left our bathing suits by accident which we did haha she even offered to ship them home. Super kind owner and WELL WORTH the money for the stay, next Galveston trip im hunting down this exact property, super impressed. Thank You!

Weekend getaway with the girls

The condo met our needs for the weekend. The living room is warmer than the rest of the condo but the fan helps.

We really enjoyed our stay. My son has requested that we keep this property on our favorites for future trips. Very cozy and we had everything we needed. The staff isn’t rude but could be a little more helpful and welcoming. Note: The parking permit clearly states that we must park in the designated parking spot. Well someone was parked there and I called the front desk to ask about it. The staff member said we don’t have designated parking just to park anywhere.

great stay

Great location - worked perfect for our stay - host easy to work with - FYI - couch hideabed extremely uncomfortable, could feel the springs but owner brought a padded mattress cover that helped somewhat - we had kids on it.

Easy short stay

The property was clean and easy with check in for parking. Everything needed to have a nice beach stay- Kroger near by, nice restaurants we walked to, view of waves crashing, fridge, hot nice shower! Thanks so much! It was a great stay- fit 4 kids with the bunks and pull out couch.

Nice property

This property was very nice and clean. It was comfortable and we loved the view. The only thing that I would maybe look at are the bedroom window curtains. At night, the light from right outside was shining directly into the room. Maybe some curtains that covered the room better would help fix that.

Amazing View

We loved our stay!! We were a party of 5. 2 adults and 3 children. ( 13-14-16) We all fit comfortably in our suite. Loved the amenities! And waking up to the sound of the waves was awesome! Definitely staying again!

Perfect for what we needed.

Check in was super easy. Received all the info via email. Was able to access the unit with no issues. The unit was perfect for what we wanted a place to crash in between the pool, beach, and site seeing. The living room tended to be a little warmer than the rest of the unit but there was a fan available to use and honestly wasn’t a huge issue for us. Our stay was satisfactory. Our family included 2 adults and 2 kids. We like staying at Casa Del Mar due to access to the heated pools and the proximity to the beach.
