This Cure is one of the highest points in Carteret County and views Atlantic Beach, Morehead City, Emerald Isle and Beaufort from the many ocean-view windows, balconies and perches all over the house. Absolutely stunning marble and tile renovation on the bottom floor including Spanish printed tile hallway and double walk in shower. (pictures to be updated soon) Each window throughout THE CURE provides a completely new and expansive view. With new floors, paint and completely new award winning landscaping, this house is the highlight of the sea dreams neighborhood and the gem of the beach! It is gorgeous and inviting. The decor is designed to put your mind at ease so you can truly take in the beauty of your vacation. The pool access is directly off the side porch and overlooks the ocean. The private beach accesscis walking distance to Ft. Macon state park. Last but not least, you can see the Cape Lookout lighthouse from the 3rd and 4th floor of The Cure! 7 nights required unless owner approval. No exception for Big rock.

Great Location

Great house with plenty of room for family. Beds and living area were comfortable and nicely decorated. Location was great which was next to walkway to community pool and beach. *Only thing I would suggest is more cups in kitchen and laundry baskets in each closet.

“The Cure” to our

“The Cure” had all the amenities to make our vacation for a family of 8 a hit! The proximity to everything in the surrounding areas is extremely convenient.

Perfect Location - as advertised

Our experience was consistent with the reviews below. The home is “as advertised” both by the description provided and pretty much all the reviews (with the exception that we did not share the experience of the negative review). The owner was attentive, super-polite, and lightning quick to reply to us - minor problems were resolved, or questions answered, and we had a great week.

BAD!

First, I just want to say thank you for how helpful VRBO. You guys were awesome! This property is a mess! *Silver ware in the dish washer * used wash clothes & razors in the outdoor shower *cabinets full of food *bed pillows laying on the floor of closets *torn bed material hanging down to the bottom bunk *basic soaps (as stated as provided) empty * cabinets of random glassware and coffee mugs *messy dirty drawers *blankets that looked dirty and shoved into spaces * drawers with at least 3 different flatware thrown in all together* no toilet paper upon arrival *wet towels left in the washer *unmade queen bed. *terrible mattress. I could go on and on…When I addressed the issues the host Keith accused us of having more people in the house than was allowed. I told him to check his cameras. He also had his divorce attorney/friend??? (not a real estate attorney and a very easy google and I assume to intimidate me) call me addressing the property by address , left a VM saying immediate response required. I called her back, left a VM to call me back and she never did… I had to have VRBO tell them to leave us alone.

Perfect beach week!

We had an excellent experience at The Cure from start to finish! The house was cool, clean and well-stocked with basics when we arrived. The decks and indoor spaces are gracious and nicely decorated, the bedrooms/beds were comfortable, and the location/views are THE BEST in all of Sea Dreams, hands down. We hope to return next year, if not before!

Lovely home with great porches.

The house is well-stocked, modern, and beautifully decorated. We especially enjoyed the porches where we could relax together as a family. The property manager was very helpful and responsive to questions. We definitely recommend this place for a family adventure at the beach.

We had a wonderful stay at “The Cure”! The views were spectacular and the house was pretty great too! All the rooms were thoughtfully planned out. Fresh linens on all the beds and plenty of towels for everyone. The balconies were perfect for relaxing with a book or enjoying your morning coffee. The pool and the beach were within walking distance from the house! The owner, Keith was very kind and responsive with all of our random questions. We had the best week on our family vacation and can’t wait to visit again soon!

Perfect for family vacation!

Great location and we loved having access to a pool and easy walk to the beach. Loved the light-filled rooms, the balconies for relaxing & that there was plenty of towels for our stay. Home was lovely with gorgeous views. Only recommendation would be more drinkware for children vs. small highball glasses & master bedroom door lock to be operational.

Great location to everything Crystal Coast!!!

The property is beautiful and perfect for summer vacation! I would have liked to have seen a little more attention to the outdoor furniture and grill being ready to use. Not at all blaming that on the owner! they were awesome to deal with.....just think they may need to get the cleaning crew in gear:)

Lovely Atlantic Beach home

The house is lovely and such nice amenities with pool and beach a very short walk from the house. Views from the decks and rooms were so nice and we felt the house was a great size for our group of 6. We also thought it was charming that the homeowners put some personal items in the home (engagement photo) to make the house more cozy. We would definitely rent the house again. There were only a few negatives—lots of stairs which is hard for older adults and moving in and out; there were two full cabinets of good we believe was left over from former renters (pub mix, condiments etc). I thought this was unusual and thought it should have been cleaned out. The owner was very responsive, so nice and accommodating. I loved the area and we had great dinners every night. Amazing stay! Thank you.

The perfect location
