Spatium, the Luxxe spa, is simply exquisite. The environment is over-the-top from before you walk in the door. It's not a downtown bizarre market, but who cares when the first floor hosts an exquisite display of French chocolates, candies, pastries, and other one-of-a-kind desserts! And that's just one section of this unique shopping venue. Three floors of fresh foods, clothing, Mexican wares, a French restaurant with an ocean view, and other smaller eateries make the market a fun place to visit often during your stay.
GYM:
The gym is in the style of all-things-Luxxe, superbly designed, excellent staff, and state-of-the-art equipment. Within the gym complex are two cardio rooms with a variety of cardio options, a weight room with a wide selection of machines and free weights, a spinning room, and a spacious yoga/exercise class/stretching room.
RESERVATIONS
Reservations are for a 7 day stay/1 week stay and can start on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Children are 12 and under. Living rooms include sleeper sofas to accommodate maximum number of guests per room. Because the resort books quickly, booking at least 6 months out or earlier can help guarantee the dates you wish to travel. Availability from January through March is very tight, so reservations for this period should be made as far in advance as possible. There is a shuttle service from the airport to the resort is arranged for your arrival., they are now charging $15.00 per person. Your concierge will help arrange a shuttle or taxi for your departure at guest $. Vidanta is happy to note room requests and does its best to accommodate as is logistically possible; room assignments are made and dependent on availability at the resort at the time of check-in. There is absolutely no guaranty which tower you will be located, if you rent a Grand Luxxe you will be in a Grand Luxxe Tower, just will not know which tower. I ALWAYS ASK FOR A TOP FLOOR LOCATION BEST VIEWS, unfortunately you can still end up on a lower level, it depends upon low many owners are in residence at Vidanta, owners trump renters. Vidanta realizes not all views can be ocean and does work hard to make sure the resort is beautiful from all angles. Our experience has been that views of the golf course, river, jungle, mountains, and downtown are all spectacular.
Payment at the resort is cashless; you may use your credit card or register your credit card at check in to get set up for a signature-only payment system. Please do remember to tip, the employees make Vidanta Vidanta, they are incredibly friendly, honest, will go out of their way to help you. I tip in pesos, so they do not have to go to the bank and lose money in the conversion.
A small municipal tax of around $11 or more depending upon the size of accommodation is charged each day. This appears on your final statement.
