Upouusi keittiö, parvi ja piha! Tämä hiljattain kunnostettu 3 makuuhuoneen ja 2 kylpyhuoneen mökki on osa Oceansiden historiaa. Vuonna 1925 rakennetussa talossa on retro-tunnelma, sisustus ja ainutlaatuinen charmi vuosisadan puolivälissä. Ei ole toista taloa!
Nauti kodin kaikista mukavuuksista, mukaan lukien varustettu keittiö, uudet laitteet ja avoin ulkoasu, mukautetulla rullatava autotalli-ikkunalla yksityiseen takapihalle, jossa on kivetty terassi, grilli, takkakuoppa ja suljettu tila, joka tuo perheen lemmikin! Takapiha tarjoaa erinomaisen tilan viihdyttämiseen ja hengailuun. Toinen makuuhuone sijaitsee toisessa kerroksessa, jossa on täysi sänky, turhamaisuus ja pukeutuja. Kolmas makuuhuone on ihanteellinen lapsille, siinä on kaksi erillistä vuodetta, joten se mahtuu neljälle hengelle (vyöryä voidaan nostaa halutessa täysikokoiseksi vuodeksi). Kolmas makuuhuone sisältää myös pukeutuja, turhamaisuus ja pieni parveke merinäköalalla. Toinen kylpyhuone on toisessa kerroksessa. Se lisättiin kotiin äskettäin, joten se sisältää uudet lattiat, kalusteet ja LVI. Olohuoneen sohva vetää helposti täyteen sänkyyn. Uusi lasten parvi sisältää futon-tyynyt ylimääräiseen nukkumiseen, pelit, televisio ja pelikonsoli. Talo nukkuu jopa 12 henkilöä.
Sijainti on ihanteellinen matkustajille ilman autoa. Talo sijaitsee keskeisellä paikalla keskustan sydämessä, ostosmahdollisuuksia, elokuvia, ravintoloita, pyöräteitä, puistoja, rantoja, laituri, satama, kirjasto, kahviloita, baareja, klubeja jne. Kanssa, kaikki korttelin sisällä. Oceanside on pieni, vilkas kaupunki, jossa on hienoja paikallisia tapahtumia, kuten viikottaiset Sunset Market, viljelijämarkkinat, konsertit, kuukausittainen Art Walk, paraatit ja triatlonit. Se sijaitsee myös keskeisellä paikalla, josta pääsee nopeasti Legolandiin, Disneylandiin, villieläinpuistoon, Sea Worldiin jne.

Great for groups

We enjoyed our stay. The host was very easy to get in touch with, house was great for catching with friends: cooking/grilling, hanging out by the firepit. Quirky and clean. Great location, easy to walk everywhere. Would stay there again!

Perfect!

We loved this place and will definitely be back! Pete was quick to answer a question we had. Lots of comfortable beds and plenty of space to spread out with our group of six adults. The back yard was fabulous, and the location was perfect for us.

This is a fantastic vacation house

We had so much fun at this vacation house. A 15 minute walk to the beach. About 15 minutes to the train too. We did not even have a car. If we needed a car (rarely) we took a lyft. There is a Neighborhood Walmart within 15 min walking distance, and we did most of our grocery shopping there. It is in the midst of town, so there are tons of shops very close. Great ice cream. We had tweens staying with us and they took over the loft. I heard them talking to their dad about what a great room it was for kids. There are three beach cruisers, one with flat tires, but the other two we took out every day. There is a beautiful flat bike ride along the beach, which I did many times. The kitchen is well stocked, easy to use, and very fun with the garage door that opens out to the patio. We enjoyed fires in the fire pit. We cooked out on the grill. We even enjoyed the "atmospheric river" as it was exciting to see the rough ocean from the pier. The library is beautiful and a block away. We caught the weekly farmers market in front of the library. The property manager is very friendly and responsive. I recommend this place.

Wonderful Place to Stay

The house was fantastic!! It was very clean and spacious. The “garage window” that opens in the kitchen is one of the coolest features we have ever seen in a rental unit. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were a great size. I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling with friends and family as it gives you lots of space, it is close to lots of great businesses (bars and restaurants), and it is a pretty short walk to the beach (less than 15 minutes).

Perfect stay for all

This fab house is perfectly located to enjoy the beach, shopping, fun dining and walking to the movies. Wonderful surfing, walking, thrift stores and a used book store are all close by. AND, best of all, I walked to the train station to take a train to Los Angels to visit art museums. There is also and wonderful Oceanside Art Museum. The kitchen was the best part of the house. It is big enough for all to help with food prep and the AMAZINGLY fun roll up window brought the outdoors in making food prep a spectator sport for those not on KP duty! Two thumbs up with a big smile! : )

Great, central Oceanside location

We stayed here for the Oceanside Ironman and it couldn’t have been a better location. Such a cute house, great backyard and plenty of space inside. We would definitely stay here again!

Not like the pictures!

First off, let me say that this property says there is a "Minimum 1-day vacancy between guest stays". I took this right from their listing, but this is not true. I contacted the owner to see if I can check in early, as my flight was changed. I got no reply. A week later, I contacted again and also asked for checking-in instructions, since we would be checking in the next day. She gave the instructions and also said "Check-in is anytime after 4 PM. I have people checking out that same day at 11 am so most likely we will need until 4:00 to have the house cleaned and ready for you. If it looks like we will finish up early I will message you and let you know." This is copied and pasted from her reply to me. That's a little strange that someone is checking out the day I am checking in since the listing says otherwise. I let this go, as I needed a place for me and my family to stay over the weekend. We arrived to the house at 4:22 pm. I was in SHOCK when I walked in. The pictures looked NOTHING like the actual property. Every room/bathroom needs a total upgrade, including the kitchen that says it was recently remodeled. That's hard to believe as every appliance had broken pieces. Even the lamp in the living room was torn to shreds. Instead of buying new pillows they put two flat pillows in one pillowcase and thought we wouldn't notice? Every piece of furniture was old, damaged, and hanging by its last thread. The bathroom doesn't have a vent, but an actual fan inside. The "loft" addition is NOT for young children as it states in the listing. You have to crawl through a hole in the wall to get inside and its too small to stand unless you are 3 feet tall or shorter. You can't get in without a step stool. One look away for a second and my 4 year old could easily fly over the tiny banister pictured. Luckily, we did not need to use the appliances in the kitchen often as they were not cleaned inside. If our stay was longer, I would have contacted the property manager to come clean the place thoroughly. But we spent most of our days at amusement parks that provided food. I cannot comment on the backyard or laundry room, as we did not use that area for any of our stay. This property definitely has potential. It has enough rooms for a family or two to stay, 10 min walk to the beach/pier, 5 min walk to beautiful restaurants, parking was easy to find on the same street as the home. But they need to put money in to upgrade, I wouldn't stay again.

Keep in mind that this is an older home, a very cute older home at that. It is located very close to town, the pier and beach. All were within a 10 minute walk. This home doesn’t not have central air and there are fans provided throughout the home, but were not very clean. The home does have lots of windows to open to allow good air flow throughout. However, some of these windows don’t have screens. The kitchen is very spacious with practically everything you need. However, I did have to go buy a basic spatula to flip eggs in the am. The patio is great for entertaining. However, the propane tank was empty and had to contact the property manager and owner to get it filled. Which they did respond promptly and refilled it within 1.5hrs. There are big screen TVs but I did have to buy batteries for the remotes because the batteries provided were dead in 2 different remotes. Last but Not Least… the beds were Horrible! One piece of advice for this owner is to invest in some better mattresses. Never mind all the other inconveniences that occurred, had the mattresses been decent it wouldn’t have mattered.

Daughter's wedding

We booked this stay for family members for our daughter's wedding at Botanica. The location was perfect, and in walking distance to the hotel where the bridal party stayed. We enjoyed a night at Stone Brewery which was a short walk. The place itself was very nice and the backyard was great for entertaining. We left behind a speaker, and the hosts graciously offered to mail it to us. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Close to Beach

My family of four enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home in Oceanside! All the conveniences of home! If you ever needed anything, the property manager promptly helped us! Two queen beds and two twin beds served us perfectly and our kids are teenagers. The beach bikes were a bonus for sure! Many rides down to the ocean and shops! Only downfall really were the beds as they could use new mattresses.

Great space for a family

This place is a great space overall for families with children and your family pet. The kitchen and backyard were the highlights and where we spent most of our time. The kids nook is also a great addition and our girls loved it. Note that there is no air conditioning if traveling during warm months (but there are fans to cool each room) and skylights in one of the upstairs bedrooms do not have blinds so the light comes in early in the morning. There are lots of beach extras available which were appreciated. We did encounter some ants in different areas of the house, but remedies were provided (although be careful with pets around these or remove them off the ground as they were not pet friendly). We had two cars and we were able to find parking for the entirety of the trip and it is about a 10 min walk to the beach. The house was clean overall and had most amenities you would need for kitchen and laundry use.

Perfect Summer Getaway

The house was so amazing and we loved it a lot! The location was absolutely perfect, we were able to walk to restaurants in the area, and walk down to the beach and pier easily! The house was perfect for a large group!

Extended Family get-away

The location was perfect. We flew into LAX, took the flyaway bus to Union station and road the train to Oceanside. Easy walk to the house. No rental car needed and no traffic/parking to worry about. Everything we needed was in walking distance- even for little legs. The hosts were very responsive and timely. The property also had character without being stodgy. It was nicely outfitted with all the necessary supplies. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect vacation rental!

We stayed in September with our teenage boys and some of their friends came for the weekend. There was plenty of room for all of us and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. The back yard was much bigger than the pictures show and the loft was great. Rachel was a pleasure to work with.

Wonderful Getaway home at the Beach

Our Family had a wonderful time -- never drove anywhere. super easy to walk and ride bikes everywhere we wanted to go. It was so nice to have the extra bikes available. The house is so cute! We did laugh about the loft - it is definitely not for full sized adults. Lots of Linens, Beds comfortable, kitchen is super nice. Backyard was perfect. only suggestion is the number of glasses & wine (we went to the store to get plastic cups for drinks) and maybe dry goods such as sugar and flour. Anyway - Looking forward to a future stay in Oceanside Thanks Tammy

Had everything we needed, including a dishwasher and w&d. Lots of toys for my little one, and bikes for the adults. Stocked with soap, paper towels, cooking utensils, and tp. Plenty of blankets, fand, etc. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely stay again.

Great little beach house

My family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The house was in walking distance to many restaurants and the beach. For ones with littles it may be more of a trek but as our kids are teens it was not a problem. The home is quaint and comfortable and felt safe and secure. We would stay again! Thank you!

Great Getaway

The location is fantastic. It's an easy walk to the beach, even with some things to carry. A Stone Brewing location is also only a couple blocks away, a great stop on the way back after some time at the beach! The kitchen is large and made for a great space to cook and eat in. We also had a great time crawling into the loft to play the SNES Classic from time to time.

Family Christmas

This house is so cute and perfectly located. The kitchen opens up to a private backyard. We celebrated birthdays and Christmas over one week and it couldn’t of been better. We cooked a lot and the kitchen was perfectly stocked. Loved the privacy of the front courtyard. Safe and inviting. I’d recommend this house and look forward to booking it again. Kim

Just as advertised and then some with so many extra surprise details included. We went on a family vacation that include children from 8 to 16 years. The day we left the youngest said she didn't want to go home. This gem is family friendly with a very nice walled backyard including access to a huge washer/dryer. We even had smores in the evening with the fireplace already supplied with wood and ready to go. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place to experience Oceanside

We had such a fun time staying here while our daughters played in a local soccer tournament over the Thanksgiving holiday. The new kitchen updates are awesome! Lots to do by just walking out your door. This was our first trip to Oceanside and we will stay here when we come back. Rachel is very responsive and a great hostess.

We rented the house for 6 days . Like another comment from a previous renter, my family spent a morning washing the extremely dirty, sticky floors and had to buy our own supplies because there was not a mop or cleaner suitable for wood floors. We left the mop. ;-). There were also indoor pest issues that had to be addressed but the property manager was quick to react and ensure there were 0 issues with the rest of the stay. Our family rents a house in the area once a year; unfortunately this one only matched the others in price. A shared laundry facility and a possibility of parking a street down is not charming. On a good note--there was a full compliment of kitchenware allowing for big dinners and toasting smores in the backyard was relaxing.

Jerry Witt purchased the house with his son, Jason Witt, for his own personal use when he comes from Northern California to visit his children and grandchildren who live in the area. While he's away, Jason and his wife Rachel live close by and manage the house as a vacation rental. The Witts love Oceanside, particularly for its character and history. They love to go on hikes nearby, walk the pier at sunset, go to the beach, sift through antique shops on the 101 highway, or enjoy craft beer at one of many local breweries.

The house has unique character that gives travelers the feeling of vacation, of getting away. At the same time, because we live here, we've equipped it with all the comforts of home, including all the necessary kitchen items and spices, beach toys and towels, barbeque, etc. We get to enjoy the privacy of our yard with our pets, surrounded by beautiful foliage, but with the city right outside the door. You could live here and never need a car! In researching the house, we discovered that the original structure was built in 1925 by the Richardson Brothers. It was their first home before they went on to build some of Oceanside's iconic structures, including the local Star Theater and First National Bank. The house is truly unique, and we tried to preserve its original charm in decorating it. Of all the properties in Oceanside, there is nothing quite like this house. It is one-of-a-kind.

Want to stay in? The living couch pulls out into a bed with the tug of a handle. Load up the couch, pop in a movie, and you've got a comfy spot to waste the day. The backyard is also unique, because it's like a little oasis completely enclosed from the rest of the city. Throw on your suit, blend up a Mai Tai, and let the vacation begin.
