We bought this home and initially traveled up nearly every weekend to enjoy Bolton Landing and Lake George. Its walking distance to the local beach, marinas and town. We lived here full time for about 10 years and the girls attended school there. Now that the girls have almost grown up and some off to college, we moved closer to the college to visit her often and watch her college soccer games. Our home is near wonderful neighbors, also up the street the The Sagamore and the famous Sagamore golf course and Grill room. Bolton Landing is truly a wonderful town. The people are so famously friendly and helpful and there are always so many things to do. The house is located by northwest bay by The Narrows, where there are more islands on the lake here versus any other part of the lake. Many people who have repeatedly visit Lake George tend to gravitate to the Town of Bolton with all it's shops, restaurants and marinas. Families tend to launch and dock boats in our area to be closer to The Narrows for easier access to the ranger station on Glen Island. There are 2 state parks in town. We have made many upgrades to our home and its immaculately clean with an Adirondack theme throughout. We as a family have always enjoyed the large fireplace, and building a fire in the copper fire-pit outside while enjoying the large hot tub. We upgraded and renovated the kitchen and bathrooms recently and carefully landscaped the private to create a private oasis for anyone.
