Coastal cottage a few minutes walk from the beach. Great base to explore the beautiful South Hams.
We had a lovely stay at this cottage. The local beach is lovely and you can walk to Bigbury beach and Burgh Island. There is very little outdoor space at the cottage and it does look directly over the holiday park but even in our half term week the holiday park wasn’t noisy. The cottage is well equipped but the beds are all quite small and not particularly comfortable but fine for a week away

Gorgeous property
Absolutely beautiful house, very comfortable and well equipped. The location near the beach and coast walks was fantastic. The owner provided really good information on the local area and checked in on our first full day to ensure everything was ok. Would highly recommend this cottage and will definitely be back!

We're (Frances & Andy) a family of four, with two young kids who adore the sea as much as we do! We spend a lot of time here but are based in London, so our trusty housekeeper keeps up the good work for us whilst you'll have us at the other end of the phone. Andy grew up in neighbouring Somerset and still has family living nearby. He's been visiting Bigbury on Sea since he was small and has never grown tired of it! Frances grew up next to long sandy beaches in the chilly North East and whilst a city girl at heart there's nothing more inspiring or comforting than being by the sea.
この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由
We (Frances & Andy) have been coming to this area for as long as we've been together - Andy used to holiday here with his parents as a child, and when the rare chance to buy a local property came up, it was the perfect opportunity to spend more time here and start bringing our own children to create their own memories.

We love what everyone else loves about the cottage - that we can be at the beach in less than a minute, enjoy views of Burgh Island from the bed or the garden, and hear the sea through the windows.
We spent two years renovating the cottage, opening it up and brightening the rooms to bring in the daylight. Being able to add our own slightly quirky style and add a calming coastal palette that feels warm even in winter was so important and one of the things we love most.
You can enjoy the views and the warmth of the sun even when it's windy down at the beach from the patio garden, or when it really is cool the conservatory is set up for cosy dining or reading whilst remembering you're by the sea!
