Nice Heavenly Weekend Getaway

Wonderful stay for those looking for a house near Heavenly Ski Resort. There is a ski rental shop just down the street. There is also a free shuttle bus that brings you to / back from Heavenly Ski Resort. Host was very responsive during the weekend.

Group ski trip

Enjoyed our stay. Close to stagecoach lift. Fun house, but beware if you have trouble with stairs. Driveway was cleared of snow daily. Great communication with the host. We did not have separate towels for the hot tub. The house manual said to provide your own. We’re happy overall.

Nice place, close to Heavenly

We had a nice stay. There are lots of rooms and amenities and it's close to Heavenly.The only downside was that the house was extremely hot at night, making it hard to sleep. We reached out to the property manager for a fix and it wasn't fixed during our stay.

The stay was amazing as the house was a lot of what we were expecting! Only thing is some outlets around the house were difficult to not useable. When something was plugged in the cable falls out. Otherwise we loved the home and would highly recommend to others!

Tahoe getaway

Had an amazing stay at this property! The manager was extremely nice and very well accommodating. We were able to check-in early to be able to place groceries in the property! Location is great and just a quick drive down to the casinos/night life. Property was clean and big enough to host all of our friends and family. Thank you and would 10/10 stay again!!

Great Location

Plenty of space for a large group though a little cramped to hang out in one space together if you have group of 12+. But outside of that house was great, perfect location for skiing and walking to Fox & Hound grill, amazing views from hot tub and balconies.

Excellent Location & Views/Great Customer Service/Lacks Basic Housekeeping & Maintenance

The views from this house are phenomenal! This is a great property for a large family or group. The location is excellent! There is a lot of space. The game rooms, gym, and theatre are fun places for pre-teens and young adults. The game rooms are well-loved. Julio, the property host, provides impeccable customer service at a moment's notice and will become your best friend during the stay as you will need to contact him frequently to help out with the quirks of the houses. This is where the stars for the review begin to fall... There are some safety/maintenance problems on the property. Unfortunately, the housekeeping on the property is lacking. (a cookie sheet of curly fries was left in one oven, the other oven smoked when used) These houses are not stocked with cleaning sponges/cloths or cleaning products. No top sheets on some beds. Minimal towels in the bathrooms. Bring your own spices & oils, the houses are not stocked with pantry items. However, there are ample dishes and cooking utensils between the 2 kitchens. You can search the property for paper towels, toilet paper, and extra bath towels before calling Julio. This is an older house so just have fun with the quirks. Be prepared for dim lighting in the bedrooms. Also, be prepared for a lot of steps too, it is 3 to 4 stories with the kitchen/living room on the top floor. So if you have bad knees or any type of pain when climbing stairs, you will have a tough time. If you don't mind the lack of basic housekeeping supplies and cleanliness, staying here will add to your adventure. The young adults in our group had a blast staying here! It's a great ski/board house for a large group.

This House has Amazing Views but other than that it is average, the beds are the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on, and for the price to stay here I was hoping for something much better. Everything in the rooms down to the sheets and pillows felt so CHEAP! The deck outside is sagging and seems very iffy along with the railing on the main deck being wobbly and when you're 4 stories up you don't want a wobbly railing. The place was also not shown as 2 separate homes, it's made out that it is one massive house and that is not the case. Overall it was a bit of a bummer because the place is so expensive and when you pay Luxury prices you should get Luxury accommodations and this wasn't it.

Good for a Family Vacation

This rental is more than enough to enjoy a large family vacation. There are many activities within the home itself such as the theater room, game rooms, gym, and a hot tub to cater to all kinds of folks. We did enjoy the fact that the house was split into two units so that one side can be more of the “louder side” while those who prefer peace and quiet or to sleep (such as our elderly family members) can be on the other side. On that note, this stay may be a bit challenging if you do have elderly folk in your party as there are many stairs to navigate during the stay. So if you have people who will have difficulty going up and down stairs, this may be a challenge for them. Julio was also very communicative during our stay and was always willing to help should if we ever needed anything. Check-in was simple enough and we had no issues getting in. The house is also only 10 minutes away from the main Stateline area where the casinos and Heavenly Village are, so you can definitely leave and come back whenever you please. Overall, I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and family.

This home was great for our active family, ages 18 months to 66 years. We rented in peak ski season and had great snow. Each day it snowed, our driveway was cleared of snow by 8:30, so parking was not an issue. We enjoyed the hot tub, game room, video room, and common areas. Navigating 2 kitchens was a little confusing, trying to remember where each item was stored, but the huge table was perfect for our party of 12. We were supplied with baby gates and a pack and play, which helped keep our little ones safe. Some things that could be improved include: supplying more washcloths and dish towels and tupperware-type storage containers, fixing the faucets in the bathrooms (hot and cold were reversed, which is a little scarey with small children), fixing the slow draining tubs, fixing the lattice on the back porch(again, scarey with little ones) and fixing the broken step (#7 on the right). Some cosmetic changes that would improve the home would be fixing the flooring under the kitchen table and providing more lighting in closets and bedrooms. Also, shelves in storage closets would allow supplies to be stored in an orderly fashion (they were kind of thrown in randomly) Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would rent again. If ever the 2 sides are split into two units, I would recommend leaving the dining area with access to both sides so it could be used as one huge unit. Maybe put a large door there that could be opened so the big table allows a large family to sit together. But then again, splitting the two would mess up that gorgeous elk hanging above the table! That would be a shame! Cudos to Julio for meeting our needs promptly!

Great stay

This home was just as described. We read all the reviews to make sure we understood the home. We had children including toddlers and they were all fine with the stairs. We brought gates just to make sure. The hot tub was a bonus. Julio the onsite manager was great. If we needed anything, he responded quickly. Thank you for the great customer service.

Horrible stay

If they have 0 star, I will give 0 because we had a very bad experience in this home. The house is big but very old. Mattress very old and bad, we can feel the mattress metal. The photos look very nice, clean, and new, but when I checked in, it's horrible!!! Dirty floor. There are rats in the house!! The rats ate my half of my bread. It's not worth it for $2,000 per night, I spend almost $6,000 for this house reservation and end up with this horrible experience.

Summer Retreat

★★. Worn out and not like the pictures

This property is worn, dated and has some serious hazards not disclosed, and should not be rented to families like mine with toddlers and young children! A child could easily fall through the railings. Outside stairs are a danger for young or old. Outsides patios so worn and railing dangerously unstable no one went outside. Patio furniture and bbq filthy. Very very disappointed. House listing stated the house had an elevator (on many websites) but there is no elevator. Recent knee surgery made this a huge issue. AC only in one room. I will be requesting a partial refund. Please fix this house for your future renters, do not hide poor reviews or write your own reviews. Families sacrifice for a weeks' vacation - over $1k a night. The only good news about this house is Julio the onsite manager. He is the best.

Surprise vacation

We had my family meet us a the property to surprise my wife and it totally worked. She thought we were going to see a potential investment home but we were there for vacation. The property was great with lots of things to keep the kids busy. The hot-tub was in great spot we enjoyed a sunset and wine while soaking in the warm water. I would stay here again

Summer Retreat

Great vacation, family reunion, and fun times at the lake. We had a great week here in tahoe the property management was able arrange our grocery delivery before checkin which was great as we were able to just show up and relax. Julio took care of a few issues we had within the hour for replacing propane tanks. Overall We had a great time, the home was in good condition!

Great house Awesom location and view.

Great location, clean and awesome view!!! We enjoyed the house for 4 family. Kids enjoyed game room. House Manager was helpful and quickly showed up when needed. Prepare for stairs climbing to access all amenities. Kids loved it though. No AC until but had standing cooler on top floor. Other rooms had fan but felt little hot for summer, so we kept patio door /windows open at night. Great kitchen but shortage of kitchen towels, so we had to do market trip. All rooms had refrigerators 😊. Towels and sheets were so clean.

All though we had a good time and the house was big enough for our group we where disappointed with a few things. Both dishes did not work. Not all the jets on the hot tub worked. All pool cues for pool table are broken. The outside porches where dirty and the cushions were gross. The house was also dusty and a little more beat up then we expected. One of the screen doors was off the track. Some of the room fans were broken. I did call the house manager and he did come look at the dishwasher but it still didn't work after he came.
