True ski-in-ski-out Chalet perfect for families to share

Our lovely 4 bedroom Duplex is located right on the Woodcutter green run providing excellent ski-in-ski-out access for any ability level. As an added bonus we are located a short 4 minute walk from the village.
Our home is designed for 2 families to stay together comfortably.
The Master bedroom is located on the top floor and has a beautiful four poster King sized bed and en suite with a steam shower.
The second bedroom also located on the top floor, has a Queen sized bed with en suite - including a bath.
The third bedroom is located on the ground floor, has a Queen sized bed and is next to the fourth bedroom comprising of two sets of single over double bed bunks. The ground floor also has a bonus open plan Family room with TV.
The third bathroom is also located on this floor and includes a bath tub.
There is a large separate laundry room - all laundry detergents are provided.
There is large mud room located on the ground floor with direct access to ski run.
The middle floor has an open plan kitchen, dinning and living area with a gas operated fire place.
The internal access garage is located on this floor where there is a generous sized entrance with a large coat storage cupboard.
The large 8 person hot tub is also located on this floor.

Great stay in big white

Our stay with Candis in big white was amazing. The accommodations are well stocked and lots of room to relax, unwind or catch up. The location is perfect, and the hot tub on a snowy day can’t be beat. Highly recommend

Perfect ski-in ski-out location

We had an amazing ski vacation at this beautiful home. Lots of space for kids and adults, true ski in and ski out. Village was a short walk up the hill from the house. House was well stocked with everything we needed. I absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for the perfect ski trip at Big White. Thanks Candis!

One of the best rentals!!

We have rented multiple places at Big White and this is by far our favourite .Very well stocked rental, tons of towels, well stocked kitchen, laundry, and true ski in/out.There was lots of room for everyone (party of 8) and the huge hot tub was lovely after our days on the mountain.This rental was perfect,.Thank you Candis for sharing!!

Ski trip perfection

We loved this stay so much - we traveled from western Washington - two families with 4 children ages 4-8. The lay out of the house was fantastic with plenty of room for the kids and adults and ski gear. The mud room for skiing was so great with the boot warmers! The kitchen had everything we needed and the hot tub was very well maintained and hot. We would come here again every year!

Great week!

We are a group of 6 adults and 2 children. Chalet was perfect for us. Enjoyed the hot tub and was a short uphill walk to the village (and to get the kids to their lessons) Didn’t hurt that we had the best snow/skiing of the season!

Great ski in and out

Chalet met all our requirements. Great ski storage area, nice laundry room and perfect rec room for the kids. Would definitely revisit this chalet for the amount of people we had.

The ski in/out location of this chalet doesn’t get much better. The ski room is very convenient, the home is clean and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Needs maintenance and better communication

This property looks amazing on paper , sadly we found the property lacking. Tradesmen were allowed to enter the property with only 3 hours notice via email, even though a contact phone number was on record.Both of the queen beds need new mattresses , coming home with sore backs and feeling tired from a break away is not what we had planned . The fact the downstairs bedrooms can hear the hot tub motor running through the night is not highlighted in the property details .The bathtub in the ensuite did not drain , luckily we were able to unblock this ourselves , the disgusting material coming up from the drain was most unpleasant and highlighted the bath had not be well maintained or cleaned .On arrival it was necessary to replace light bulbs . A working dishwasher was removed and replaced with a new model that was not plumbed in.When this was pointed out by email the reply was disappointing and derogatory, finding it amusing we would be washing up for a family of 10. Being called a Dishwashing Diva when I am on holiday with my family was hurtful and disrespectful .We will not return to this property and highly recommend you look else where.

Best Mountain Location!

This is an excellent property with the best ski in ski out to the main green run which makes ski access so easy for all abilities. The property is clean, well-appointed, and our host was very accurate and communicative. Oh, and the hot tub was spacious and new! Highly recommend.

Top Notch ski in/out!

Beautiful property with one of the easiest access points to big white we have stayed on. Clip skis on at 843 and you are at the lift for 845! Hot tub was perfect for the apres ski rest and relaxation. Easy check in, easy check out. No hesitations in recommending this property for anyone looking for a a fantastic ski vacation! Communication fantastic with owners! Easy and very quick responses.

Get slope side getaway!

We were a group of 5 adults and had a great time at this chalet. Overall we very happy when we walked in and found it was even nicer than the pictures showed! This was our 7th trip to Big White and the ski in/out at this place was the best we’ve ever had and the boot room was nice and large. The location is convenient to the village (although the walk up the hill will get your blood pumping for sure!). Other features: garage fits a large SUV, spice cabinet had a lot of supply, beds were all comfy. As noted in a couple other reviews there is no bathroom on the main floor (but we didn’t see this as an issue). In terms of mgmt - the owner and local mgmt contact were both very attentive and responsive. We had a maintenance issue that had to be resolved and they took care of it quickly and efficiently - very appreciated!! We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great location near the village.

Perfect for a group…family or friends!

This property was perfect for our group: true ski-in/ski-out, close to village shops and equipment rentals, clean, cozy, comfortable, great mountain views, large new hot tub, well-equipped kitchen, parking for two vehicles and informative and responsive host. Highly recommend.

Amazing family ski holiday

From start to finish we loved our wonderful stay at this amazing Big White Resort. The pictures don’t adequately reflect how beautiful this place is. The beds are very comfortable and the the whole place was very clean. The views are spectacular of the mountains and the hot tub was very enjoyed by all. There is a true easy ski in/ ski out access to the ski hill. We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and appreciated the privacy the place provided. We would definitely enjoy staying here again.

Perfect Property for Skiing!

The chalet was located only a 7 min walk to the main village and a quick ski down to the chair lift. The boot room was very large and just a short walk from the hill. The property was very clean and had a very well stocked kitchen and came with all of the amenities. Overall a great place to stay!

Great family ski vacation

Property was excellent. Great location, amenities, cleanliness. Was a true ski in/out location onto woodcutter run which leads to Plaza, Ridge, and Ghost chairs. Short walk up the hill to the village and Gondola. Had a usable garage to park in and an extra parking spot outside which is a luxury. Property was well maintained and very clean and had a well stocked kitchen with great appliances. Beds were very comfortable. Lots of games and good TV/wifi. Overall a great vacation spot.

We are an expat family and have been living in Asia for over 25 years. As a family we have been visiting Big White since 2000 and purchased our first property on the hill in 2003. We purchased this larger home in 2007 and return to the hill every year. We have 5 children who now range in age from 22-30. Big White is hands down the best ski resort for families and we have many treasured memories as a family at this resort. We know you'll love your stay too.
