Horrible - Will not do business again

We were in the unit for about 10 minutes, I had a serious reaction to a chemical used in the unit to cover smoke in a unit that was advertised as non smoking. It required me to return to New Orleans that day for medical care. The manager was not helpful and they refused to give us a refund. I am still suffering from the exposure to the chemical several days later. No one returned our call when we asked for a manager to go check the unit. It was a horrendous experience and I will not do business with them again. The unit was NOT as represented and we should NOT have been charged for being in a unit less than 15 minutes. I would appreciate contact by management.

7/23/2022: This condo was GORGEOUS! There is nothing more we could have wanted. Well appointed. Conveniently located. Serene. Can stay on property and be completely entertained. Alternative entertainment is close by. Front of property is within 500 feet of the beach. Currently 5 relatively new towers. Beds COMFORTABLE. Kitchen fully equipped with new appliances. YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED.z

Wonderful property but some things you should know

We rented this condo for an overdue girls trip. There were three of us and we were very comfortable. The condo is decorated beautifully. We used the kitchen and balcony to their fullest. The views from the balcony are stunning. The beach was lovely. Things you should know: 1. Getting an Uber to pick up at the resort is difficult. The property is slightly off the beaten path, so if you are flying in and don’t have a car, be prepared. 2. Despite the condo resort feel, this property does not offer some basic things you would typically expect. Pack dish soap, extra rolls of toilet paper, beach towels, toiletries, wine opener. 3. In addition to the fees you will be paying with VRBO, the resort will also be charging separate HOA and resort fees. This was a un so fun surprise we discovered in the day of check out.
