Prepare to be breathtaken. Experience the authentic Outer Banks as if stepping back in time with this beachfront home. Step out your door every morning to the rising sun and let the ocean breeze and sounds carry you to a simpler time, a time to relax and refresh with your loved ones. Listen to the sounds of your children as they make memories of life.

Beachcomber sits on a magical private path that takes you to the top of a sand dune and opens up to what seems like your own private beach with expansive ocean views as far as the eye can see. You will feel like you own your own ocean and yet are steps away from your charming beachfront home. This also sits directly in the path of where giant sea turtles lay their eggs from May-October and can be seen by few lucky guests at night. The public is asked to turn off lights at night in order to protect the natural turtle habitats and patterns.

Sip wine in the evenings next to the propane fire pit, wash off in our outdoor shower or enjoy some of the brightest stars you have ever seen. Inside, shoot a round of pool in our customized pool table, watch your favorite movie, show or sports team in the comfort of your reclining sofa.

This classic 3 bedroom 2 bathroom ocean-front home can comfortably sleep 8 guests and is fully stocked ready for you to call home. Linens, towels, cooking utensils, spices, board games, books, cable TV, Wifi and a propane BBQ are all provided. Just bring your toothbrush, bathing suit, guests and your imagination.

Beachcomber is not a perfect house, but it is the perfect beach house. This place is full of beach character and has a laid-back beach vibe where the people around you are on "island time". This is not for guests looking for a perfect new building, but rather a house full of character that makes you feel like you are staying at the beach. Our guests like to enjoy the waves, have picnics on the sand, spend time with their family, enjoy the outdoor shower and take walks by moonlight on the beach. All within the comfort of this location.

Great Spot

Peaceful, clean, functional, and easy access to the beach. If you are looking for a cozy spot to get away with an added oceanfront benefit, book it.

Rough start

We had a rough start that burned our afternoon/evening due to no house keeping between occupants. We finally had the house to ourselves and unpacked after 9pm. We arrived at 4:15! Owner responded quickly to get house keeping in there. They had to do a full service to all rooms. It would have been appropriate to get a little something back for our lost time! Owner did not respond to the WiFi that was not working, but we didn't particularly care that much. Kitchen was great. Lots of seasoning, and decent cookware. Cooked nearly all meals there. FYI, unless you are in a drone, there is no ocean view like in the property picture!

Getaway beach house

Great house for a couple or family. Step off the porch, walk 50 yards through the dunes, and you are on the beach! well-appointed and maintained house. Several restaurants and a big grocery store a 2-minute drive away.

Excellent Rental

We needed a place with a direct path to the beach. This place had everything we needed plus a pool table. Everything was clean and comfortable, especially the couch. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Location!

Perfect location, the beach is right over the sand dune (which is beautiful itself and protects the house from the wind)! Loved our time here.

Not as expected

We use Vrbo often and this was the first time we were disappointed in the property we selected. Our interpretation of "updated" is a little different than what we experienced. Highlights: On beach (although you cannot see the beach from the living room window), pool table, and great place to walk around. The house was dusty and the floor had a weird film on it. The outdoor firepit's knob was completely broken off so we couldn't use it and the track lighting flickered on and off. The bathroom off the kitchen not only had a leak in the shower but was in desperate need of an update. Although the manager was nice and very responsive early on, the concerns weren't handled until our vacation was close to the end (and the firepit knob was never fixed, which was a huge disappointment). Again, management was nice but suggest they do a thorough walk-through before new guests arrive to ensure everything is as noted in home's description.

Great Getaway House

We absolutely enjoyed our 7 day stay! Location is close to everything. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. Check in/check out was a breeze. Although the house is beachfront, you do have to trek over a steep dune to get to the beach, which may be difficult for any older guests. We even had two deer greet us in the dunes when we rose early to see the sunrise! Highly recommend this house and would stay here again.

Peaceful .

Wonderful. Just over the sun on a private path is the ocean. We had a lot of privacy this week. The amenities offer made the stay so much more relaxed. I would stay again.

Great location and use of space

Simple home right across dunes from beach. Great layout- small bedrooms but square footage reserved for spacious great room/kitchen. Comfy recliners and amazing picture windows. Two big TVs and lots of dishes/pans. Has everything you need. Appeared very clean but just to note for anybody has allergies- it is pet friendly and there was residual long white dog hair in the carpet.

Perfect rental for us!

This was a wonderful place on the beach. Initially there were going to be six of us, but 3 adults and 1 child backed out. So we had the place to ourselves! We loved the location! We were looking for a place where we could take the telescope and look at the stars and planets, and hopefully see the Milky Way! The weather did not cooperate. But we plan to try again! This rental was perfect for us! The property manager was very responsive to all my questions, often times responding within five or 10 minutes. We saw deer tracks out in the sand and heard that people often see them in the morning. We are already trying to figure out when we can go back.

Excellent waterfront home

This property was amazing. The owner was prompt with replays. I would absolutely stay here again. They had everything you needed and then some. Place was spotless. Thanks for an amazing rental.
