Great location
The location of this property is fantastic if you enjoy staying in the Santa Clara area. Plenty of room in the home for a large crowd. We had 12 people and there were enough bedrooms/bathrooms for each couple to have some privacy. The downsides to this property are: Lack of adequate parking in the neighborhood. We were there for Spring Break which is a busy time, but the streets were literally lined with vehicles, resulting in one way traffic only. Also, this particular home was not well equipped with kitchen equipment. I understand not wanting to put super nice things in a rental home, but even the cheese grater was comical. Our biggest concern was that we paid a 325.00 cleaning fee and the state of the bathrooms when we arrived was subpar at best. The shower in the primary bedroom downstairs was filthy and had long hairs stuck to the walls. It was discouraging knowing that the previous guests must have paid a large cleaning fee as well, just for it to go to waste. We wish there had been cleaning agents in the home other than tablets for the dishwasher and a trial sized bottle of liquid dish detergent. We spent our own money on paper towels and Clorox wipes to clean counters and wipe down the bathrooms. Despite the great location, we won’t stay in this home again based on our experiences.
