Very cozy home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Haven. It was very comfortable and we enjoyed the fire pit just about every night. 10/10 recommend.

Nice House

Dot was super nice. Loved the house. Very comfortable living room and great large kitchen. Great location just off of Hwy 65.

Great place!

We stayed here as a stopover with our 7 kids and it was perfect! Comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The kids especially loved finding a box of toys in the bedroom, and the “light show” in the beautiful fireplace. Dot was easy to communicate with and we would definitely stay again.

Super cute for a weekend getaway!

The Haven was wonderful! We were very impressed with everything about the house! It was very clean and so cute! We loved all of the attention to detail, from holiday flavored coffee to extra toothbrushes in the bathroom! It was perfect for a weekend with friends!

Perfect!

In a great location and in a quiet neighborhood. We were close to activities including: Bass Pro Shops aquarium, Pytheon Castle, Silver Dollar City and Fantastic Caverns. The inside of the house is beautiful! The beds are really comfortable and the backyard is really nice. We were very happy!! Will definitely stay again!

3 Generations

We traveled to Springfield for a conference at the Arena. I brought my mom, sisters, and niece. We wanted a place close to the arena where we could all stay together comfortably. The Haven was perfect. Such a comfortable living space. Lots of room. This was exactly what we were looking for. Easy to reach restaurants, shopping, and the campus area. The owner Dot is great as well. Quick to get a hold of and very helpful.

Cute Home

This was a great location and place for our stay for a gymnastics meet for my soon. The twin beds room was great for them. My only issue with the house was that the walls, baseboards and around the shower was filthy. The decor and updates were wonderful, but the house itself was not very clean. I am a clean freak, so that may sway my opinion some but I wish the house would have been more deeply cleaned. The owner was kind and helpful and it was well stocked.

Nice but…

Overall the property was nice and worked well for us. There were a few items that could use attention: the four-slice toaster had broken lifters on one side; the coffee pot in the pantry was disgusting (if it wasn’t intended to be used it shouldn’t have been in the house); the front blinds were unable to close completely; the wooden deck in the backyard is dangerous and needs repaired or removed; the refrigerator is very confusing (it’s very nice but is either broken or needs instructions); the dining table is very unstable. Also, the beds were very soft and uncomfortable. However, there were throws in the living room which were nice while watching TV, the fire pit area was nice even though we didn’t take advantage of it, there were plenty of plates etc so we only had to run the dishwasher once. Overall we had a very nice stay at The Haven.

Perfect little spot

Everything was easy to get to, the communication was just as easy. We absolutely loved the Christmas decor, it was very inviting and it was perfect for making memories.

Short family trip

The house itself was good, the only shortfall for us was that the fence would have allowed our dogs to get under or through so they had to remain on leashes with us in the backyard. The house and other amenities met or exceeded our needs.

Soccer Weekend

This cozy house was comfortable and decorated nicely on the inside. The beds were very comfortable. Location is convenient. We were disappointed with the back yard. We booked 5 days before our stay. We booked because the outside pergola looked so inviting. When we arrived the pergola was in a crumpled pile in the back yard. There wasn’t any wood available for the fire pit. We went to the closest gas station to grab a bundle and they didn’t have any.

Short before school starts holiday.

Absolutely fantastic property. Perfect for us and close to everything we wanted to do. This rental was a no fuss experience and felt like home. I recommend this property.

Great place to stay when you are away!

This home was lovely! Very nicely decorated and well stocked for the basics that you need for prepping a meal or hanging out. Back yard is beautifully laid out and perfect for a small get together! Dot was incredibly accommodating to us and her communication was always spot on! Thanks for such a great stay! We would definitely come back again. This property is also very well located in proximity to Wal-Mart and restaurants! Neighbors were friendly too!

Wedding weekend

Excellent stay, clean, comfortable and plenty of room for our family. Dot is a great hostess. Quiet neighborhood but close to restaurants. Wonderful back yard as well.

Lovely, cozy home

We stayed here while attending a funeral and visiting family in the area. The home is clean and well appointed, and conveniently located to about anywhere you need to go around the Springfield area. The property manager was responsive as well.

Overall good experience. No issues. Nice backyard, fire pit area, covered area with table and chairs. Comfy living room sofa for binging on TV. Everything you’d need in the kitchen. Great place to stay. Nice treats and special touches, like shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Nice bathrooms. Would stay again.

Beautiful + Intentional - Repeat stay!

Our family will absolutely return to this space! Dot was a wonderful host and made the process incredibly easy. This home has beautiful furnishings, appliances added with purpose, and a gorgeous backyard. We couldn’t believe how intentional the design felt throughout the entire home. For example: plenty of comfortable beds + blankets, usb + outlet access everywhere, make-up remover wipes, toy bucket, and sound machines to name a few! We stayed with our friends and family (four adults, two babies, and a toddler) and had plenty of space. We were close enough to downtown to easily explore, but in a neighborhood that felt cozy. The surprisingly spacious backyard included a dining space + fire pit that provided an excellent hangout area, too. We highly recommend. We will absolutely return. We are grateful for Dot’s hospitality + home.

Very nice home!

We stayed at Dot’s for the weekend. The home was very well stocked with anything you could need during your stay and decorated beautifully. We appreciated the ping pong table in the garage and the large backyard with patio set and gas grill. Dot was very responsive during our stay and brought us batteries for the electric fireplace remote quickly after I texted her to let her know it wasn’t working. We would stay here in the future.

A Fantastic Home to Stay

So we had our Friendsgiving celebration at Dot's property and to sum it up, it was brilliant. The Kitchen space and the living room is top class, the neighborhood is residential and quiet. I think the backyard and specially the firepit is just icing on the cake. We loved our experience here and would certainly recommend the stay to all other travelers.
