The Cordova Inn was built in 1921 and New Hotel Collections has brought it into the 21st century while maintaining much of the property's integrity. Original claw foot bathtubs, hallway maid sinks, and a spacious front porch complete with rocking chairs add to the charm of the Cordova Inn, as well as classic black and white photos from days gone by in St. Petersburg. A perfect location to explore all of downtown St. Pete and easy access to the Central Avenue Trolley to take you to Pinellas County's world-famous beaches. Updates include modern appliances, reimagined common areas and internet/wifi access.

Adorable property, but had an issue with our reservation

First, we loved the hotel and its proximity to everything we wanted to do during our stay. The property is so charming! Unfortunately, there was a problem with the reservation. When I arrived to check in, they had no reservation for me despite having communication and confirmation emails from VRBO (not the hotel’s fault). The front desk was so kind and accommodating. They quickly figured out the problem, and even though they no longer had the room style I reserved, they generously gave us an upgrade at no additional charge. This was above and beyond what was expected, and was truly appreciated because we had our hearts set on staying at this beautiful historic hotel. The property is absolutely lovely, but the excellent customer service really won me over. I will recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a place to stay in St. Pete.

Lovely stay

We enjoyed our stay. Good location and walking distance to a lot of places. Room was clean and staff was very welcoming and informative. Do wish the parking garage was a bit closer but it was complimentary. Also, wish the bathroom had more hooks for towels and wish the bathtub a had a place to put shampoo and stuff. Outside those very minor issues the place was lovely and would stay again.

Love St Petersburg

The hotel was beautiful and staff was incredible! Very professional, friendly and helpful! Short walk to the center of town with lots for restaurants and coffee places.

Experience was good but mostly bad.

Good: Location and actual room/property Bad: Serious construction going on next door. The building vibrated for hours accompanied by loud noise from the construction. The vibration was so bad we checked out early. Bad: Parking is across the street in a university garage on the top level (6). Only one elevator and it was broken for a full day so we had to take the stairs multiple times that day while carrying bags, etc. Bad: Our room was upstairs but the building has no elevator so we had to lug our heavy suitcases up the stairs to get to our room.
