Not as advertised.
Host interaction was fine, but the property was not as advertised. Property was rundown and in disrepair. Supposed to have two beds in room but only one. Toilet was broken, light fixtures were rusted over. The AC unit worked but sounded like a freight train when running. We found roaches in the room on our last day. Overall not a pleasant experience.
In all fairness, we where there to be at Universal so we barely stayed in the room other than to sleep, and we didn’t want to spend any extra time trying to sort out changing rooms or dealing with the poor situation, so we didn’t directly complain to our host. If we had been planning to be in or around the hotel more, we would have definitely complained, but it wasn’t worth the fuss for us. I’m only leaving the review so others can know what to expect and can choose some other place to stay.
