Relax in the hot tub, grill dinner while you watch the sunset. Enjoy our wood burning fireplace or a movie in the den downstairs.

Hike, ski, browse antiques, river tubing, canoeing, kayaking, paintball etc nearby.

25 Minutes to Bethel Woods, Narrowsburg & Big Bear ski mountain.

Enjoyable Week

Overall, we loved the property. The neighborhood was quiet, peaceful, and the scenery was spectacular. We also enjoyed dinner out at the River's Edge, and the Blue Fox Restaurant. I would recommend both.

Cozy and Fun

Property is great and the cabin feels truly lived in and comfortable. Hot tub and fire pit were highlights. Bring your own charcoal for grill and firewood for various fireplaces

Perfect relaxing vacation

This property is beautiful and the house is awesome! It was the perfect place to get away from the world and just relax! Everything was exactly how the post described it, the host was amazing with responding to any questions we had leading up to and during our stay! We can’t wait to stay here again!

Quiet, peaceful and out of the way.

Serene setting, peaceful and quiet. Two nice decks with jacuzzi, fire pit, bbq. Real nuce owner who is responsive and accessible.

Quiet and beautiful!

We loved staying at this home. It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub. There were so many stars at night! It’s in the middle of a lovely birch and fern forest. Quick drive to the Delaware River and all the activities. The kitchen was good for our needs- we cooked ourselves and only ate out once. The charcoal grill was handy and easy to use. And we had a blast with the record player and tons of great albums. I think it would be really fun in the winter, too. Andy is as helpful and responsive. Thank you for a great family vacation!

Cozy spot away from it all

Lovely Birthday Weekend

The photos do not do the property and residence justice. It is a beautifully curated space with wonderful lighting, thoughtful pieces of art, comfortable spaces, all amenities. Andy was super responsive and helpful and everything you need is on the property. We had a delightful time and appreciated the coziness of the place, enjoyed a night of soothing rain outside and played games in the den downstairs.

Excellent Stay

Don't hesitate to book - this is a gem! Excellent accommodations, well stocked, clean, well decorated cute retro/mid-century vibe, beautiful private property, awesome backyard setup with hottub and fire pit. Great hikes around. Very relaxing stay. Excellent communication with host and easy checkin.

Love this house!

Wonderful house—love the mid-century decor, the cozy basement, the stereo and the extensive record collection! They also had a great selection of games and DVDs so everyone was entertained. The property was lovely, and we especially enjoyed the sunken hot tub. The beds were comfy, but the bedrooms a bit small except for the primary, which has its own en suite. Kitchen was stocked with all the basics. Location was good: about 5 minutes from Barryville and close to the Delaware River. 8-10 minutes to the nearest supermarket. Take heed of the need for 4WD in winter, though, as dirt road could be slippery. Host was helpful and responsive. We look forward to going back!

Beautiful remote cabin

This is a fantastically well-appointed and remote cabin with great amenities and the host is very communicative and helpful. Gorgeous foliage, a great hot tub, fabulous vinyl collection, and other amenities. The area is very far removed from most conveniences so be sure to research store hours and locations well in advance of your visit (the host is VERY helpful with this too).

Amazing weekend

We had an amazing weekend and enjoyed every minute in the cottage! Especially we enjoyed the collection of really nice records and of course the hot tub! The cottage is close to really nice trails and Barryville is a very cute town with the farmer market on Saturday that is full of good local food!

Perfect weekend trip

My friends and I visit the area yearly to spend a weekend by the river. This house was perfect for us. It was spacious and clean. Beautifully decorated with an amazing record collection that entertained us. The deck in the back was everything we could have asked for. We will be making this home our annual location as long as it’s available!

Even nicer than it looks!

really nice place with everything you need. very comfortable and lots of interesting decoration! loved everything about the place. the record collection, chalkboard wall, media room, and backyard are particularly nice. dripping with personality! would stay again, I'd recommend it to anyone. it's a nice enough area, if a little sparse, but in absense of going out to do anything, there's plenty provided in the house to keep you occupied and having a good time.
