Welcome to Keaton Cottage’s Cozy Creekside Retreat! This fantastic pet-friendly townhome has everything you need for a relaxing and magical Great Smoky Mountain getaway.

Uniquely set just steps from bold creek, you can cast a line for trout from the backyard, or cozy up to a fire and roast marshmallows at the creekside fire pit. The covered porch invites you to curl up and relax no matter the weather, and the flat, paved access welcomes you to enjoy this wonderful home all year long.

Located in the heart of beautiful Maggie Valley, the Cozy Creekside Retreat is convenient to so much the area has to offer. Just minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Cataloochee Ski Resort, and Soco Falls, and an easy drive to Cherokee, Harrah’s Casino, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Historic downtown Waynesville with its quaint shops and delicious restaurants is also just 10 minutes away.

The Cozy Creekside Retreat offers high speed WiFi, king size beds, a gas log fireplace, and a garage for your vehicle or motorcycles. The covered back porch and fire pit offer every opportunity to enjoy the bold mountain creek. There is a fully stocked kitchen, cable tv, and many books and games so you will have everything you need for a relaxing stay.

Spring getaway

Wonderful!

The property manager was very responsive & helpful. The place was beautiful, loved the water constantly flowing outside & the two porch areas! Tons of pots/pans & small amenities. My only slight critiques are that the beds are VERY firm & we could’ve used a few more towels so we didn’t have to wash them so often. Overall, fantastic, well-worth the money & we may stay here again! :)

Lovely, comfortable, great back deck

The star of the place, for me, was the covered back deck overlooking the creek. The front door seemed hard to open. A good, firm push is all it took once I realized.

Awesome Hosts and Location

This townhouse was very well stocked and in a great location of Maggie Valley. Close to skiing, hiking, the blue ridge parkway, and Waynesville (Publix, shopping etc). Comfortable beds, laundry room, a gas fireplace and a cool river/ fire pit in the backyard are some of the highlights!! The hosts are very nice and responsive. Highly recommend! Good for families and pet friendly! Thanks

Cozy townhome

My husband and I needed a quick getaway and stumbled across this property. It was so convenient to all the places we wanted to visit. Much more important though was how clean and orderly it was, not to mention comfortable.The email we received prior to our visit was very helpful. Can’t beat a creek

Outside of the waves of rain, such a great location and unit…. I love just watching water go by in fast moving creeks.. this place 100% fit the bill… when it wasn’t raining. Location was perfect.. close to Waynesville, Cherokee and lots of waterfalls

Very nice, just as described. Lower deck off the living room looking directly at the flowing creek is spot on for anytime. Plenty of parking up to 3 vehicles with one spot being in a closed in Garage. Location perfect just off main Soco road

Relaxing and Peaceful

Enjoyed your place with friends. We used this time to see the elk, bear and other points of interest. The house was cozy and nice to come.back too. We grilled one night but ate out mostly. The location is close to everything. One suggestion would be put up wire or lattice or something on the back porch to keep pets secure.. would like to return sometime. Thanks, Nancy

Nice getaway!

Hidden Gem

Over the years my family and I have stayed at various VRBO rentals from the mountains to the coast of NC. This was one of the best! It was so clean and all the special touches the owners have waiting for you are so nice and thoughtful. Having the creek running behind the property si just heaven! Our whole family enjoyed the stay there and hope to return again soon!

Perfect nook near everything but still secluded!

Traveled with my husband and 4 kiddos, they loved the creek and I loved the coziness of the home. Beds were comfortable and rooms upstairs were spacious. We loved feeling like we were in the mountains without having to drive far for food or the main road. Great central location to lots of local sites. The owner was super helpful and answered quickly. We absolutely loved our stay.

Great getaway

This was the perfect place for my visit to the area. I was in town to ride the roads around the Blue Ridge Mountains and this location was perfectly in between everything I wanted to ride. The place was super clean and I found it had everything I needed as far as amenities (towels, plates, cups, utensils, coffee pot, etc). The use of the garage was extra nice.!

Exceeded our expectations

This property is everything it advertises and then some. So close to everything in Maggie Valley, Asheville, Waynesville or Cherokee. Personal notes awaited us at check in to thank us for our stay including chocolates for us and treats for the dogs awaited. My favorite nook was the screened in porch overlooking the stream. Was perfect nook for reading or daily devotions on a rainy day. We already booked again for thanksgiving week.

Great little getaway

We had a relaxing time during our stay. It’s a perfect location to just get away. The townhome was easy to locate, and so nice. We had access to movies while we stayed and enjoys some family time in the area. Recommend this place to stay as couple, families, bikers, more than one couples stay. It was super clean!

Great place

Very nice town house in a wonderful location right on the bank of Jonathan Creek. Ducks, ground squirrels & the rushing mountain stream make for a wonderful & relaxing stay.

Family trip

We had a wonderful time. Very nice property and in a nice location . The house was very tastefully and thoughtfully decorated. It made it feel like a cozy home. The creek was amazing. Loriel was a helpful and amicable host. We definitely plan to go back and enjoy the place again.
