COUR DAMOYE
The apartment is located in one of the most special and private places in Paris. Even many native Parisians admit they don't know about it. La Cour was built in the 1700's as part of the old Bastille fortress; it was originally the barracks where the King's archers lived. Now it is a quiet residential haven with art galleries and an historic Coffee Roaster. It is a historically preserved passage, and no cars or vehicles are allowed. Two gates at either end close at 7:00 pm, and only residents -- and you -- will have keys to get in and out. This means you will never be wakened by trash trucks or motorcyles! It truly is like stepping back into Old Paris. It's a very special place and our dream come true.

LOCATION
Your ''home away from home'' is located in the one of the trendiest areas of Paris, accessibly loctaed on the edge of Marais in a private pedestrian passage on the borders of the 3rd, 4th, and 11th arrondisements. It is a five minute stroll to the Place des Vosges and the Seine. In 15 minutes you can walk to the Île Saint Louis, Notre Dame, and the Latin Quarter. We are also just steps from one of the most convenient metro stops with several direct lines. You are a short, direct Metro ride away to the Louvre, the Champs Elysses, the Eiffel Tower the Musee d'Orsay, Montmartre, St. Germain, and so much more.

Just outside your door are dozens of restaurants and cafes for all tastes and budgets available. From quaint bistros, to local hangouts, to the trendiest new openings of the best known chefs. The most tempting patisseries, bakeries, and chocolate shops at every corner can be located.

The apartment is 50 square meters with an endearing little entrance with closet and shelves. The living/dining room has high ceilings, wood floors, tall casement windows, and a skylight. It also features an armoire filled with amenities, such as, a portable speaker you can plug into your devices, a printer, and a slide-out table so you can use the armoire as a desk.

The dining area emphasizes three Parisian-style chairs and a handcrafted dining table that folds down to serve two with the addition of leaves, stretches to seat 12!

The kitchen is fully equipped with amenities with French standards, dishwasher, four burner stove top and oven, a full size refrigerator plenty of storage, and a washer/dryer combo. Wooden cabinets, open shelves, tile counters contribute to the French Country decor. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, dishes, gadgets and both drip style and French press coffee makers, which makes it a sunny, bright place to create fabulous feasts and simple fresh meals with all the inspiring ingredients you'll find around you.

The alluring decore of the bedroom makes it a peaceful palce to be!!!

It is furnished with a casement window, toile curtains, a queen size bed, and more storage than one usually finds in a Paris apartment with a pile of cubpoards. There is a full double closet with room for large suitcases, as well as more built-in storage shelves on either side of the bed.

For the book lovers, you will find a plenty of lighting for reading in bed, and the roomy headboard serves as a handy table for books and other items.

The bathroom adjacent to the bedroom has a large tub/shower with fabulous water pressure, a large sink, and plenty of storage, while in the entrance to the apartment there is a separate w/c that contains a toilet, sink and more storage.
