This property should NOT be on VRBO--extremely misleading. Didn't even stay.

When my husband and I arrived, the property owner met us and showed us where we would be staying. It was so messy and dirty, we DID NOT STAY. There was a ton of junk piled up in the backyard-old mattress, furniture, etc. We would not have felt safe at all. Concerned about bed bugs, etc. This does NOT meet VRBO standards and will not go through VRBO in the future. Since we didn't stay, is there any way we can get a partial refund? We ended up renting a hotel room. I saw a very negative review a few days prior and should have heeded the warning and cancelled.

The House is Misleading/ one bedroom ONLY

This property is not 2 bedrooms. After driving for 6+h arriving late, only in morning with light i saw THIS place was DIRTY , very dirty. Not enough dishes and not enough bedding for 4 people. I don’t know where 6 people would sleep? One bedroom has a queen bed and one bedroom is a bunk bed w lower mattress on floor and upper bed NO SAFTY railing you can’t use it, it’s 5-6 ft Hugh. Oh also you have to make your own lower bed, the mattress sitting against the wall, I’ll get to that little later again. In the living room pull out sofa, haaa that’s a single chair that does not work and not enough bedding… horrible sheets, all towels stained. Kitchen, not a single cooking dish was cleaned. Two forks and 4 plastic forks that were used before. Bathroom, hair and dirt all over.. i was embarrassed for my family that booked this. I did not expect 5 start but i expected clean, enough space for 4 and clean dishes. Also this is a duplex, the host was loud until after 2am. And even thought i contacted her at 2am to keep it low they went on for another 40-50min We had reservations for 2 night only stayed 1. Now 2nd bedroom = that’s small laundry room with bunk beds, there a washer and dryer big front loaders and big heavy old bunk bed there, that’s why the lower mattress can’t be left on floor by you can’t move around or use washer and dryer. But who can sleep in room like that? Advertisement and pictures are all misleading. Save you money sleep, i wish i could post pictures.
