Worst property on Vrbo

The property is ran down with over grown grass and broken screen door . That is what my sons and I pulled up to from the start . So that explains why there’s no outside pictures provided. I still wanted to see if the house maybe had some good charms inside but we couldn’t get inside the house. After trying with the code for about 30 minutes . I tried contacting the property manager with no response because the number was a google number we returned to the car. She eventually said she had to reset the code. With another attempt my son was chased by a dog and after the threat of one dog my car was surrounded by three dogs trying to get my family. We left in fear and tried several times to contact the owner but she would not respond. I contacted Vrbo customer service and after a hour they couldn’t get her on the phone. We were forced to find a hotel because we’re from out of town . I was told by customer service they would refund my money but then I received a call from a very hostile host who was very upset with me because of the matter that had taken place at her property. . I believe that the property and host should be removed from Vrbo rental before someone gets seriously hurt . There should be a inspection of this property before it can be on the Vrbo site or any site . I still haven’t gotten any information from customer service regarding my refund but I will be taking action because I have all proof . I’m really upset that I gave this hostile Lady my information 😢

Not As Advertised

This property was not lavish as advertised, the stray dogs in the neighborhood harassed us from the very first moment we arrived. Third ward is listed as one of the most dangerous areas in Texas, we only stayed the first night and we rented a room for the remainder of our stay in Texas..

Not as expected

Pictures seem like a very cute place. But not at all how it looks in pictures as it did in person. Walked in and the places reeks of stale cigarette smoke, the back door was left open with someone dog in the backyard. Back gate was also left open. Very disappointed in the place that we did not stay the night there. There needs to be a disclaimer of the smoke smell and pictures of the outside of this rental.
