Great condo poor location

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was somewhat unhappy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

This was a very nice condo to stay in. It had everything we needed for a nice stay and the property management group was very helpful. We were meet by a very nice lady who showed us everything we needed to know about the place. It was clean and well stocked with no broken appliances or missing items. The view of the ocean is small but there, the beach is very close and swimmable. The plunge pool on the upper deck was great to have and the common pool was never busy. We had a few burnt out lights and the pool pump acted up while we there but as soon as we let the management know it was taken care of. The beds where a little hard and the drapes didn't block out the light very well but that's the worst thing I can say about the condo itself. The location itself is not great though. The road in is rough, the condo is right across from the beach parking lot and bathrooms so you got some funky smells at times and the garbage truck shows up at 7:30 and gives you three long honks as a wake up call. The restaurant in the building is no longer open and besides the beach restaurant that is only open until 5:00 there is only one other in the area. There are also no convieniance stores or anywhere else to get anything in that area you have to go to town for everything. Other than that it was a really nice three weeks in this condo.
