Really well laid out, plenty of room for the four of us.Sea views (fog permitting!), comfortable beds. We arrived late, but it was easy to communicate with the host, who made sure we had access. There is a small general store next door for supplies, which deals with minor queries about the property. (They replaced the batteries in the remote control.) Very convenient for L'Anse aux Meadows Viking site/museum and St Anthony's.

First time in a Cabin

First time in a cabin as opposed to a hotel or B&B. It was comfortable and had good facilities. There was general store opposite where we had to check in, the person who checked us in was friendly and helpful. However, we were disappointed to learn that the restaurant - which was one of the reasons we choose this location, had closed the day before for the season. Because of this we then had a 25 minute drive to find a meal. It was learning experience for us that in this part of Newfoundland many eating places close after Labour Day. We bought things at the general store for breakfast as we thought it was too far to travel for breakfast each day. We learned that generally things start winding down in September - so travellers beware.

Nice spot, friendly staff, accommodation basic

Peaceful spot by the sea. Very friendly staff Room is tiny - especially if you use the pull-out bed - and bathroom door didn't shut properly. Breakfast very good.

We loved the view of the water. Vacation home was nice. Matress didn't fit platform so i kept hitting it with my shins. Would have liked an additional bathroom. Wish the host would have told about the boil water alert. Close to viking ruins

SO peaceful and relaxing

Great staff and very helpful. The only issue we had was they don't sell Laundry soap and their solution was to give me a large bottle (no charge) and "Bring back what you don't use" .... I doubt that would happen anywhere else. The location was so quiet, relaxing and close to the various places we wanted to visit that we stayed an extra night. Great place
