Randor was a great place to stay for a family of 4. It was spacious and clean with all the amenities we needed. Throughout or trip we often went to the grocery store to pick up ingredients to cook something up. We loved the small kitchenette and the sitting area to eat! It was a super peaceful place to reside in Kyoto. Highly recommend to other families.

We loved this hotel. It was quiet and clean and had every convenience to make the stay relaxing and enjoyable. Self check in etc was handled smoothly by staff. We didn’t see them but they responded quickly to messages and made things easy. Near to bus line and market. Far enough from the tourists. But easy to get to things via bus lines.

There are alot of thngs to do in this area Fushimi Inari is about a 25 minute bus ride , a 5 minute walk to Nijo Castle, and Kiyomizu Temple is also about 20 minutes by bus .

Expect there to be no front desk during your stay. Check in very confusing as well. The walls are pretty thin as well. It's a very convenient location for access to both bus and train lines. The rooms are very clean, but there was some scattered trash in the hall when we arrived. Overall very nice for the price.
