From the moment you check in you’re greeted by the nicest team of front office staff. Shakira was an absolute superstar and Terry from ops was also great. Clean, well kept, beautiful location that is second to none. Oh and the guys in landscaping are absolute artists because the grounds are pristine.

Excellent Value

From the phone call to our house in Canada to ask if we wanted any food put in our room to the ease of check out, Port St. Charles was fabulous. The service was second to none, the apartment was spacious and clean with all the amenities (even our own laundry) which we weren't expecting. We had our own little plunge pool and a gorgeous lagoon/ocean view outside our room. Everyone on the island was extremely helpful and friendly. The food was great everywhere we went. One of the nicest vacations we have ever had.

Port St Charles is an amazing place. Sea turtles and various species of fish swim and play amongst the boats parked at the marina. Our 3 kids (13,11,9) never got tired of walking the docks each day to see what they could see. We were there in the off season, and it was very quiet. A perfect time to watch the marine life. Every day we used the water taxi to take us to Pier 1 restaurant. We ate great meals and used the beach chairs on the deck. We went snorkelling and swam with sea turtles. We swam across the channel from Pier 1 to the beach there and watched the wide variety of boats come in and out of the lagoon at Port St Charles. Our two bedroom apartment was cleaned to perfection every day. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels for all of us. The gym at Port St Charles is excellent and is fully air conditioned. The ONLY negative for us was that one of the bedrooms had windows with wooden slats that allowed the hot air into the room. The room did have an air conditioner and a fan, but they were not effective during a week of high heat and humidity. To be fair, I did not raise this issue with the front desk. We were all tired out at the end of each day, so the kids passed out every night with no complaining. We all loved our room and its location and did not want to move to another room, so we tolerated it and had a great week. I only mention it so others are aware. Port St Charles is a wonderfully unique experience. Stay here if you can!

This size of the 1 bed apartment is superb, getting the water taxi to the yacht club is a great experience. Seeing turtles everyday in the lagoon is fantastic Reception are very friendly and helpful

Wonderful trip to Barbados

We have had a wonderful 2 weeks in Barbados and staying at Port St Charles made it perfect. The appartment was 1st class and we were in an ideal location to visit anywhere on the island. The staff were lovely - nothing too much trouble and it was laid back and comfortable - couldn’t fault it!!

Well appointed and equipped apartment - fabulous view over the lagoon and marina - real treat to spot the sea turtles in the lagoon. The hotel staff couldn’t do enough to help us and suggested super trips. Felt totally relaxed as we left to return to the U.K. I’d happily return to Port St Charles. We found the resort quiet (which we like). There will be further developments in Speightstown in the near future - I don’t know if building noise will be audible from the Marina. There are works to the neighbouring beach at the moment but it did not bother us at all. The bars and restaurants of Speightstown are within walking distance of Port St Charles and the busses running down the west coast leave from Speightstown too.

I love the water that surrounded the property. I enjoyed waking up to the lagoon filled with yacht and palm trees. Love the quietness of the surroundings. Love my welcome package and the staff that was absolutely amazing

Heavenly Location
