Absolutely value for money! The hotel running by charming family of Dirk and Ohm. Located in lovely Mai Khao , 3-5 minutes by walk to number of cafe and shops and 3 minutes drive to the endless Mai Khao beach. The rooms are spacious and very clean, equipped by all you need. Territiory is well maintained ,with not big but cozy swimming pool Special thanks to Dirk for super detailed information about nearest and remoted restaraunts, beaches, caves and many other POI.

Das Orchidilla liegt eine knappe halbe Stunde mit dem Auto nördlich des Flughafens von Phuket. Keine Sorge, Fluglärm hört man keinen. Und auch keinen anderen Krach. Absolute Ruhe garantieren. Leider liegt die Anlage nicht direkt am Strand, Luftlinie ist er zwar ziemlich nah, zu Fuß läuft man aber schon eine halbe Stunde, was bedeutet: man sollte motorisiert sein. Die Anlage besteht aus zwei Reihen Bungalows, insgesamt ca. 10. Meiner bestand aus einem Aufenthaltsraum mit Küche. Diese ist sehr gut ausgestattet, z.B. gibt es Toaster, Reiskocher, Mikrowelle. Fernseher mit Internetzugang im Aufenthaltsraum. Sehr großes Bad und Schlafzimmer. Alles ist fleckenlos sauber, oder besser, wie in einer alten Werbung, nicht nur sauber, sondern rein. Der sauberste Bungalow, der mir in Südost-Asien jemals untergekommen ist. Am Ende der Bungalowreihe befindet sich eine kleine Gartenanlage mit Liegestühlen, Sonnenschirmen und Pool. Ganz nützlich, denn am kilometerlangen, wunderschönen, einsamen Strand Mai Kiao gibt es weder Sonnenschutz noch Liegen. Zu Fuß erreichen kann man in der Nähe einige Restaurants, ein 7Eleven, eine Apotheke.

Super hôtel proche de Phuket.

Très bon "hôtel". Les chambres appartements sont très spacieux et bien équipés (salle de bain gigantesque !). La piscine au sel est une merveille, ouverte 24/24. Dirk et sa femme sont très accueillants et sympathiques. Les petits déjeuners sont à choisir le jour d'avant, et sont très bons. C'est un plaisir de manger dans le jardin sous la tonnelle en bois. A quelques centaines de mètres se trouve un excellent restaurant ( le white tree) qui propose une cuisine de qualité pour les autres repas. Une très belle plage se trouve à 15 minutes de marche. Astuce : les appartements avec jardin disposent d'un meilleure literie que les autres (lits moins dur). Si vous cherchez un hôtel proche de Phuket mais pas noyé dans le tourisme de masse, n'hésitez pas !!

Außergewönlich

Wir haben den Unterkunft hier leider nur für 8 Nächte gebucht. Im Nachhinein wissen wir schon - es sollten noch viele weitere Tage dazukommen.Die Residenz eignet sich genauso für einen nur mehrtägigen Aufenthalt wie auch für Langzeiturlauber. Die Anlage besteht aus 10 Einheiten. In einer davon wohnen die Besitzer - ein thailändich-deutsches Ehepaar. Jede Einheit besteht aus einem Wohnzimmer mit einer vollausgestatteter Küchenecke, einem Bad und einem Schlafzimmer. Alle Räume sind groß, hell und sehr sauber. Die ganze Austattung von bester Qualität. Alle Geräte funktionieren tatellos, über eine Smart Box ist man jeder Zeit medial angebunden. Jede Einheit besitzt eine überdachte Veranda, allen Gästen steht ein Ruhegarten mit einem kleinen Pool und vielen Sonnenliegen zur Verfügung. Die Besitzer genießen in Mai Khao offensichtich ein hoches Einsehen, als Gast der Residenz wird man schon nach einigen Tagen persönlich begegnet und angelächelt. Mai Khao ist eine kleine Ortschaft unweit vom Flughafen Phuket, ohne dabei vom Fluglärm richtig belästigt zu werden. Der sehr lange, schöne Strand ist von bester Qualität und nicht überlaufen - von der Residenz nur eine knappe Viertestunde zu Fuß. In der Hauptstraße findet man etliche, noch ursprüngliche, authentich thailändische Restaurants und Geschäfte. Nur hier kann man noch Ananase für keine 20 Bath kaufen. Wer vom Großandrang und Lichtgewitter ein bißchen Abstand sucht ist hier goldrichtig. Danke Ohm, danke Dirk.

Super Unterkunft für Natur- und Ruhesuchende.

K & J, Deutschland, Paar, 14 Nächte im Februar 2017 Super Unterkunft für Natur- und Ruhesuchende. Wunderbar auch für längere Aufenthalte. Weit vom Massentourismus. Wunderschöner langer und leerer Sandstrand, mit einem guten Zugang ins Wasser. Großzügiger Wohnbereich. Wohnzimmer mit integrierter Küche (Couch, kleiner Tisch, TV, Esstisch, Geschirr, Ventilator), großes Schlafzimmer (bequemes Bett, 2x Nachttisch, Kleiderschrank, Safe, Klimaanlage), großes, schönes Bad, überdachte Veranda. Sehr sauber, gepflegt und sicher. Handtücher jeden Tag gewechselt. Jeden Tag gereinigt. Tolle Fliesen im ganzen Haus. Anlage besteht aus 10 Häusern: links 5 mit überdachter Veranda, Tisch und Stühle; rechts 5 Häuser, ebenfalls mit Veranda, zusätzlich mit nach hinten eigenem Gartenabschnitt und Blick aufs Grüne. Allgemeiner Garten mit schönem Pool, und 3 kleinen überdachten Häuschen (1 mit Tisch und Bänken, 2 zum Liegen mit Matratzen) ist ebenfalls sehr schön und gepflegt. Die Besitzer Ohm und Dirk sprechen deutsch, englisch und thailändisch. Sie wohnen in der Anlage (Haus 1, rechts). Sehr gastfreundlich, nett und natürlich. Geben praktische und gute Tipps. Frühstück in der Anlage oder thailändisch im Dorf. Man kann direkt vor Ort entscheiden. Morgens Bescheid sagen und es wird ca. 15 Minuten später ins Haus gebracht. Sie können zuverlässige Tuk Tuk oder Taxi-Fahrer bestellen. Im Ort gibt es einige tailändische Essenpunkte. Strand zu Fuß (ca. 15 Minuten) gut erreichbar.
