Lovely large accommodation, great view overlooking Knysna lagoon. A winding drive up to house and a steep driveway in. Very peaceful. Staff very helpful.

Great place but give a miss in winter.

The accommodation is modern, fresh and clean. The staff/proprietors were very friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic. The cabins are located on a hill with outstanding views of the Knysna lagoon. It was very good value for money. Having said all that, if you are thinking of visiting in winter, consider how important your comfort is. The units are not insulated at all and the heating is completely inadequate. The bedrooms were cold and damp. It was more like sleeping in a tent than in a cabin. In the mornings, the indoor temperature fell well below 10C and the walls, windows and floors were covered with condensation. It was extremely uncomfortable. It is a lovely place, but we will never stay there again during the winter months June-August.
