Nice hotel / good value

Nice hotel, very friendly and helpfull staff. Room was excellent. Restaurant was a bit overpriced for the quality of food that i got, but i base this only on limited information of one steak dinner, pizzas on other tables looked pretty decent.

I asked for an upgrade, and I got a room with a queen bed. I called the front desk to see if they can switch me to another room and they switch me to a room with the floor messed up. I had some drinks that I needed cold, and I noticed I did not have a refrigerator, and when I asked if they can bring one from the other room, they said no. They told me they can put it downstairs in the refrigerator. Who wants to go downstairs in the middle of the night when you want a drink of water?? Not me!!

The hotel is ok, clean. Is a bit far away from the center and there are limited to none amenities. The staff was cordial. However during our last night we had a situation. We were leaving early during the morning, therefore we went to pay our room and the restaurant charges. We went to sleep and at 9:30pm we received a call from front desk saying there was a charge left and we had to go to the front desk to pay it asap. The math didn’t add up. We went and as expected the charges left belong to another room. We received no apology. That situation left a bitter note at the end.

I travel a lot, I am a platinum Expedia member. They should know who is staying in their hotel and treat them accordingly. I asked for a refrigerator and the room I got did not have a refrigerator. They said I can just leave my water and my Coca-Cola downstairs in there for refrigerator. Who wants to go downstairs in the middle of the night when you’re thirsty ??? Not me!!!

Pour voyageurs avec voiture c’est un bon endroit car il permet d’éviter la cohue de Puno. Les taxis et collectivos passent régulièrement et le tarif pour se rendre à Puno est de 1 à 10 soles selon le transport choisi. Autrement, les environs de l’hôtel n’ont rien d’attrayants. Le restaurant de l’hôtel est bon et offre une variété de plats tant péruviens qu’international. L’isolation des murs entre les chambres est inexistant. On entend tout ce qui se passe dans les chambres voisines.

Place was quite far from the center. It was cold and very noisy. People where shouting and cars honking right in front of the main entrance in the early morning hours. The room was supposed to have lake views; but the views are not great.
