Great location

Great location a few minutes walk from town centre shops, rail and bus stations. Timely communications meant accessing property was easy and stress free.

Great stay as always, central location handy for train and bus stations easy check-in, nicely decorated rooms with Netflix, tea and coffee facilities, communal spaces and safe. Thank you Helen x

A fantastic property! My room was perfect, plenty of space for me to spread out! Host was also very very helpful when I got stuck in KL for taxis too! Will 100% stay at this property again

Great value for money

Extremely good value for money, very clean and modern, the walks just across the road and town centre within walking distance. Information received with regard to local parking and entering the property was clear and precise. Really enjoyed my stay and would 100% recommend

Great place to stay.

One of the best equipped and well set up places I have stayed. Great to have clean and well-equipped kitchen. My room looked out on the road; at first I thought it would be too noisy but the double glazing was very effective at blocking the sound. Good information eg clearly labelled light switches. Easy to use door seduriry with codes. I was delighted to be able to leave my luggage between check-out and train departure. Very convenient for station, town, restaurants, church. I would recommend these rooms to others.

Place is nice and clean, but the walls are paper thin and the advert is inaccurate with regards to you having the 'entire place to yourself'. It's essentially a shared house. I ended up just leaving and booking another place. I'd personally avoid, as it really is a gamble who you'll be sharing with.

Not the best

Upon arrival, i walked into the room to find no bathroom, considering the room when booking didn’t state shared bathroom till i got there, half way through the week the radiators broke and had to contact the people to get it fixed but it was too late because was checking out that day, it was a clean room and clean bathroom and not a bad price but i dont think i will be staying here again

The amenities (kettle, washing machine, Netflix, etc.) and location of the property were good but it was not what we expected based on the photos. Generally a bit dirty, e.g. dust over all the lamps, sideboards, cracks in walls, etc. There was also an issue with the bed as we had booked the king bed but instead it was two singles put together which we were unaware of (wouldn't have been an issue if it had stated that). There was also a spring poking out the side of the bed which I quite seriously cut my leg on.

Lovely host & cosy room

As far as the stay I honestly couldn’t fault it my bed was super comfy I stayed in the queen suite with shared bathroom it was spotless and warm too Helen had the radiators on and an electric blanket in the bed which was much welcomed as I stayed mid- January. If you do stay in this room just switch the blanket on and wait an hour you might not be able to feel it to the touch but once you get into bed you’ll feel it. There was plenty of tea & coffee plus nice little touches like water chocolate & tissues. I didn’t arrive until 8pm and I struggled to get in the main door after 5 or so attempts the system locked me out in the end so I messaged Helen and within ten minutes she called me and talked me through it until I got in both doors luckily it resets itself after a couple of minutes she said to let her know if I was cold and she could turn the radiator up which I thought was lovely she was brilliant and I would stay here again. One tiny little complaint is no tv channels at all hopefully that gets sorted as it would be annoying if mine wasn’t a flying visit.

Originally helen (the owner) communicated well. We had a 2 day stay at the place. When we opened our door we have a 3 decline into our room of which we was not told about. On the second day, as I walked out our room, I noticed some oil dripping out of the door closer which went onto my arms and clothing.. I really was not happy as it ended up ruining my top completely, even after washing it smells of oil. I reported this immediately to her and she got someone to fix it. I asked about my clothing and there was no reply. I asked her to come and meet me to see the clothing and I was ignored completely and even until now. I had to report this to Expedia who contacted them. I was then disgusted to read what the owner had put about me. She told them that I had manipulated the door to do this and she has reason to believe this ?? There are infact cameras all on the corridor infact right out side my door, she can look in there and clearly see if I had done this to myself or not. I know I never but the fact that she accused me of doing this myself convinced me to write this honest report. They are fine communicating with you up until a problem occurs. Instead of coming to talk to me and be reasonable and respect she chose to accuse me 😞. I’m already going through the death of my father suddenly but then having someone accusing you of things is just another. All these people are interested in, is the money and that’s it.

A lovely well renovated house.

A lovely, well renovated house. Really nice bathrooms and kitchens. The rooms were.well furnished and had plenty of space in them. I'd recommend a stay here (but please not when I want to stay 😂😂) Helen was really helpful and took it in her stride when I found out that operator error was responsible for the hob not working. Sorry Helen. I've already booked my next stay.
