Good location close to city centre. Staff quite helpful. Only 1 sun lounger by the pool, are chairs though. Some noise outside my room on occasion. Room was spacious.Decent price.

Great location, spacious, stylish accommodation

Lovely place close to the central areas like San Telmo and only 2 blocks from Av 9 July. The place has been designed as a stylish spacious studio, with basic kitchenette (kettle, microwave, mini fridge), comfortable seating areas, big bed, balcony, quiet room at back. Helpful staff. Only minor down side was that some aspects of the decor/furnishing could perhaps do with replacement now - towels worn/tearing, valance stained, bath enamel chipped - which let such a stylish place down a bit. Would have given it 5 starts otherwise, however, would stay there again and recommend it to others for the price and location.

Bedbugs

Initially we found the hotel to be better than I expected after reading the mixed reviews. However it soon became apparent that one of the beds had bedbugs. After complaining to staff, it took them hours to do anything about it and we received nothing on the way of an apology. The lamp also broke halfway through the trip and we never received a new one. The area is a little sketchy. Don't walk around on your own after dark. A few days before we arrived a tourist was shot one block away, and while we were there another tourist was stabbed three blocks away, both were mobile phone thefts gone wrong.

Think twice

Hotel clean and in a good location with plenty of nice restaurants around. Staff mainly helpful and polite. Rooms lacked thought; Kitchenette and cup and saucer but no kettle?? For such a big room the bathroom was very cramped and had nowhere to hang towels etc. No mirror other then in the bathroom. Wifi very limited, slow/poor connection. Roof top pool was okay but pool water filthy and at one point a guest and her son decide to net stuff out. Breakfast was an absolute waste of time with only coffee or juice and a choice of over ripe fruit, toast/cereal or cake available. We was also told breakfast was included and then charged on checking out. Had we of known this we wouldn't have bother and would have visited the bakery around the corner each morning.

The hotel is well located if you are happy to walk all the main sights are in walking distance. The breakfast was very sparse and not worth the cost at all. The free wifi was ridiculous constantly dipping in and out of service, very frustrating and not at all user friendly.

nice hotel but dodgy area

Our first impressions were definitely "wow, what a room!" It was huge with a kitchenette, gigantic bed, plasma tv, bathroom with bath and a balcony. There's also a nice seating area on the 7th floor where you can sit outside. Breakfast was pretty reasonable. But that's where the positives end. Our biggest criticism is the hotel is on a street that makes the Bronx look good. We started referring to our nightly outings as "running the gauntlet". Every night there were alcoholics and dodgy looking men standing directly opposite the hotel, along with lots of wild dogs fornicating. One night there were groups of young people drinking and shouting and revving cars outside until all hours of the night. We're pretty savvy travellers and speak Spanish, but we still felt unsafe. I even stopped taking my handbag and engagement ring out with me! Another issue was the pool area on the roof. We wanted to go and relax there one very hot, sunny afternoon but was told it was closed. When we enquired as to why, we were told "for painting and changing the water". After pleading, we eventually got up and guess what, no painting or water changing. Same thing the next day. Other small issues include our room (on 2nd floor) was directly opposite some flats and they could see directly into our room so we had to keep the curtains closed pretty much the whole time.

Good value for money

Friendly helpful staff, a good value for money apartment in a reasonably central location. As it is not close to the tube station, the best way to get around is by taxi especially at night.

Diamond in the rough

What a gem! Very modern and huge rooms and what you might call the grottier part of town. Area of San Telmo is great for cafes, restaurants and bars and really gets going after 8pm. The hotel is conveniently located near a main Subte line so you can get to areas of Recoleta and Plazo de Mayo really easliy. Staff are great and really friendly and helpful. I would stay there again if I was in Buenos Aires. Also very good value for money

O quarto era bonito, grande, bem decorado, os funcionários atenciosos, o banheiro grande e as camas grandes. Porém, a cama de casal estava com o colchão muito ruim e desconfortável, a TV a cabo saia do ar frequentemente e o banheiro tinha um pouco de mofo e faltavam algumas luzes pelo apartamento. Bom. Mas faltou algumas coisas.

O quarto é bem confortável, porém senti falta da limpeza após ficar 3 dias, pois eles informam que somente apos 5 dias que tem direito a limpeza, mas que poderiamos solicitar na recepção a troca de toalhas e reposição de papel higiênico, os mesmos foram solicitado e nao fizaram reposição, tivemos que comprar. Um outro ponto que nao agradou foi a iluminação no quarto só tinha um pendente para iluminar o quarto todo que era grande então nao dava luz suficiente para o ambiente.
