Myself and family have been visiting Calpe for many many years now but our first time staying at this hotel on a last minute break. We would definitely come back! Had everything we needed and our room & balcony were huge with a fantastic sea view! Breakfast was adequate and pool was usually quiet so we could get sunloungers no problem (early June stay). It is about 10-15 min walk from the Main Street in Calpe but that meant that round our hotel was quiet 😊 we have previously stayed at Gran Hotel Sol Y Mar 3 times but as lovely as it is (and don’t get me wrong there is a big difference) but I don’t know if it’s worth more than double the cost of here! Parking around the hotel is in the ‘orange zone’ which is free all through May & June or there is the salinas land which you can park for free on only a 15 min walk away too. We had a couple of facilities issues with the air con & hairdryer but both were dealt with the same day we reported them- we will return here for sure!

Avoid this Hotel

Avoid this hotel. The walls between rooms are paper thin. We were told at midnight that we were no longer able to talk in our room even though my wife and I were only talking quietly. This happened two separate nights. Check in was a disaster, 1 person managing a long queue. Food was average at best, wouldn’t recommend to anyone

Amazing views and the staff are friendly

The hotel is very well situated. Close to the centre and just by the beach. Free parking in the street. Reception quick and pleasant. The room was an apartment and with an huge balcony with amazing sea and mountains views. Not very updated so a 3 stars max. The bed was so hard that it might be better to try the floor.
