The property is great. The units on property are individually owned and unfortunately our unit is poorly maintained. The furniture need updating, the refrigerator wouldn't close without a struggle, the television is old and didnt work well. The unit also need shelves in the bathrooms and atleast one mirror. They only mirror was over the sink in the bathrooms. House keeping was the best thing about this unit. Property is perfect, just ensure you are renting a kept unit.

The apartment overall was nice and communication with management was always easy and accessible however the cleanliness of our unit could have been a little better specially in the bathrooms. But the unit came with a lot of amenities including a washing machine which was quite nice and it is reasonable driving distance from town.

The unit was nothing like what is shown in the pictures. Mold in the shower, tape keeping kitchen cupboards together, no soap or shampoo. We arrived from the airport only to find 2 bathrooms without any soap to wash one's hands. I would be we stay here again. Barbados is beautiful but this apartment was a total fail.

We have been coming to the island for 40 years. We feel this condo unit is overpriced for what you get in terms of location and ammenities. The condo itself was nicely decorated, it was clean and there was everything you need in the kitchen. Comfortable seating, although the lighting is very dim!! AC in every room was appreciated!! Housekeeping staff were very friendly and attentive! Unfortunately, we had issues with the en-suite shower. After 3 minutes the bathroom was flooded. Safety issues with shower design and slippery tiles. Management responded quickly when we notified them and a plumber came the next morning. Drainage issues continued during our stay. The washing machine which was listed in the property profile was not operstional. All ground-floor units in this complex have direct access to the pool. All other units need to go down the back stairs and walk outside around the building to reach the pool. The area appears to not have fully recovered since Covid. Many popular establishments have closed down. Public transportation in very close!

Lovely comfortable apartment

Apartment was very clean and beds very comfortable. I would suggest more clothes hangers in all bedrooms, would be good to have dressing table and chair in some bedrooms and shelves in the bathroom for cosmetics creams etc. Kitchen was great perhaps provide big salad bowls. Lovely staff and security available from 6 pm.

Flavour of the neighbourhood

If you like to have an experience of the geography of the place you are visiting, this resort is it! It gave me the impression that I was living in Barbados at the same time as being very comfortable. Loved the vibe of the location. Wifi was impeccable and bus stop super close. Walking in either direction provided us with literally every thing we needed.

Really liked the view of the ocean from our unit. Mrs M. the lady that came in to clean for us, was exceptionally sweet. The unit itself was nice, we really liked it, however to no fault of anyone, the shower backed up and flooded the room and the tiles in the hallway popped and cracked, was a bit disconcerting. Other than those two incidences it was quite nice place to stay.

Really nice and cozy place

The stay was wonderful. The pool was nice and heated, the rooms were pretty much sound proof and there was a great freshness to the room. The patio was a great place to relax and have some fresh air. The only drawbacks were there seemed to be quite a few mosquitos and flies about. I don't know the reason why but they were great in number and left me and my partner with significant bites. Overall though I would say this is a good getaway .

I enjoyed this location cleanliness the only negative not having a full shower glass while showering water was going on the floor. Ensure to go shopping before you settle in at Massey supermarket if you don’t you can always go to Simeons Bajan and kitchen beach on Hwy1B.

Convenient position on West Coast.

We were very pleased with the apartment but it was the lack of information from the time of booking plus being given the wrong code to access the apartment which spoilt the lead up to and beginning of our holiday. From the moment we booked the lack of communication regarding our booking made me doubt that we had one at all. Twice I rang Homeaway support who confirmed our booking was sound and was through Expedia. This was all news to me. Also there were 2 taxes we had to pay on the island which we hadn’t been notified of. All in all what should have been a time of looking forward to a special holiday was spoilt by doubt that our booking was sound. I will not book through Homeaway again but will go to the Lantana Resort in Weston but will book direct with Island Villa Holidays.
