An excellent hotel on the outskirts of Split. The Amphora’s Garden is an annex to the main Amphora Hotel, but with its own stunning rooftop infinity pool which at times felt exclusive. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout, with very friendly staff, and excellent amenities in the main Amphora hotel, including a rooftop bar. Our room was very nice, and very well set out and maintained. The only downside was the lack of local dining options, particularly on the beachfront work that can be done from the hotel into Split (which takes about an hour). Because of this we tended to get an Uber into Split centre for dinner (usually about €7 single trip). Finally, there is extensive building work on this part of the coastline at the moment, but this is a government programme that will no doubt improve facilities and dining options form 2025 for visitors and locals, it’s not about building more hotels. Overall a lovely stay in the great hotel, in a beautiful country. A great base to explore this part of Croatia.

Geweldig hotel en top staff dat goed Engels spreekt en behulpzaam is. Naast het hotel wordt gebouwd aan een park met faciliteiten dat erg mooi zal zijn. Maar voor nu heb je dus met iets van bouwoverlast te doen. In het hotel merk je daar verder niks van.

The Hotel is first class. Make sure you get the water front view. Hotel has three pools and really nice view. You need water shoes if you wan to go swimming in front of the hotel. Very classy hotel and great breakfast! I highly recommend!

Fin havsutsikt!

Amphora’s garden lämnade lite att önska då det tog lång tid att gå in från hotellet till sina rum plus att takterrassen kändes som att inget givit det kärlek på länge. Men eftersom Amphora’s garden var överbokat så blev vi uppgraderade till Amphora hotel. Och deras ”hotel” är helt fantastiskt. En helt underbar utsikt över havet, bekväma och fina rum samt en avdelning där nere på två pooler och en bubbelbool med fin utsikt som också var helt fantastiskt. Hjälpsam och tydlig personal. Frukosten har ett gigantiskt utbud, däremot kunde man önska lite högre kvalité på en del av grejerna.

The overall property is great. The breakfast is amazing. Staff is very nice and professional. The only complaint I have is the picture that Expedia has on the website. The picture of the property has not been updated for a while as the Amphora Hotel has been build since in front of the Amphora garden. The only other complaint is construction that is going on in front of the hotel and there is a lot of dust and noise. I’ll come back k again after all of the construction is completed in front of the hotel.

Flott hotell, men det er byggekaos!

Amphoras garden er et veldig flott hotell med kjempefine fasiliteter, men det ligger midt i et enormt bygningskaos som ikke avsluttes fullt før om et par år. Når dette området av Split er ferdig rehabilitert vil det antakelig bli fantastisk, men nå er området usjarmerende og et kaos av graving, støy og støv. Vi bodde i en flott leilighet med to store soverom og to bad. Frokostbuffeten hadde et godt utvalg med gode råvarer. Bassengområdene er fine, men det var veldig trangt om plassen siden store deler av hotellets gjester antakelig valgte å ligge ved bassenget pga gravearbeidet og det faktum at det kun er en veldig liten del av stranden rett i nærheten av hotellet man kan bade fra. Resten er stengt og under renovering. Vi avsluttet vår 2 ukers ferie i Kroatia med 2 netter på hotellet og hadde allerede opplevd fantastiske strender og koselige småbyer på Hvar og Brac. Vårt behov for reisen ble derfor tilfredsstilt, men jeg ville ikke valgt dette hotellet for et lengre opphold på familieferie slik situasjonen er med gravearbeidet akkurat nå. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake om et par år når alt er ferdigstilt!
