This is my second time staying and BEE Suites Escalante. I will always stay here when I come to Costa Rica. Great place to stay and Escalante is a very nice area with a ton of restaurants and bars.

My wife and I had never been to Costa Rica before, so we did not know what to expect exactly. Driving to the BEE Suites looked a little rough at first, but once we got there it was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions of where to go and eat. There were many excellent restaurants within walking distance and our view of the city was wonderful. We would definitely stay there again.

The apartment itself was really cute and suited my needs perfectly. The staff is also really responsive. The Ubers to the downtown were pretty cheap and only took like 10 minutes. I’d stay again.

We had no complaints during our stay. The room was spacious and all amenities(cookware, plates, salt, towels, shampoo, body soap, conditioner, fridge and freezer, clothes iron, hangers, & others) were available for use. Aircondition was great and strong enough for the entire space. TV was smart which inluded entertainment apps but TV could be updated. Everything was clean and modern. Although daily housekeeping was not available(which was stated prior to booking), everything we needed was attended right away by messaging them through whatsapp. 24/7 front desk was really helpful. Although it was not right outside the frontdoor, a lot of restaurants and shops were walkable. Uber/rideshare was always accessible even odd times such as 5am. We waited around 1-4 minutes for rideshares. All in all, I recommend this place for what it has to offer and for its price. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel and room are very modern and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's in a great neighborhood. It's a short 5-minute walk to many cafes, bars, restaurants, and a grocery store. But it's still quiet for sleeping.

All the reviews are true. This is a great place to stay. This very walkable to so many restaurants and bars. Barrio Escalante aera is safe, and everyone is super friendly. If your from the states, its kinda like a little five points in the downtown areas of cities.The units are modern and have great views of the city with the mountains in the background. Everyone hates on San Jose, It just like any other big city with good and bad areas. This is a good area. If you're on the fence, pull the trigger and book it.
