2nd stay in the Kate Room.

2nd time we have booked the Kate Room. The location is great for shopping or strolling. Check In/out is easy. Very clean and comfortable. Appreciate water in the fridge and lots of coffee and tea. Bathroom amenities are very luxurious. We forgot our toothbrushes and were pleased to find a couple with toothpaste. The food at the Irish pub next door is delicious. Next time we’re back will book same room.

Kitchen was well equipped but missing a non metal stirring device like a spatula which has resulted in the non-stick pans being all scratched up. Otherwise it was obviously well decorated and cared for. Great location everything was within an easy walk.

Everything about this suit was GREAT!!!! All the little extras like coffee, chocolates, travel shampoos/body washes/conditioners, slippers. The suit was very clean and tastefully decorated; very cozy. Neighbourhood was safe and so many shops and restaurants and bakeries. Parking was right out back, so easy access. We loved the place.

We stayed in the Kate Suite. It was charming, very comfortable, very clean, well appointed with some very nice additions. Microwave, coffee maker, including a few cookies, a few dishes and flatware,and mini fridge. Just a very lovely accommodation. Location was perfect, a few blocks from Shaw and just in the first block off the main drag. Off street parking is also a plus. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

PROS: The location can't be beat. You park your car once in their private lot, and can then walk everywhere in NOTL with ease - the Festival Theatre and the Royal George Theatre both being a short, easy walk from the property. The suite was spotlessly clean, nicely appointed, and had a very pretty balcony. Many fine restaurants and excellent shops are very close by. CONS: Only one. The stairs. This property has no elevator, and the suites are all up a straight - but fairly long - stairway. Not for the mobility challenged.

My husband and I were comfortable during our stay here. The room had a full kitchen and outdoor seating area with a grill. The location was very convenient, walkable to many restaurants and a grocery store. Even though there is not a front desk, email communication regarding self-parking in the adjacent lot and access to the room was timely and clear.

The location was perfect for shopping, eating and sightseeing. Very clean and quiet. Comfy bed, nice amenitiies. We would love to stay here again next time we visit the area. You can’t find better accommodations then this location. Great check in/out instructions from host with contact details for any questions or concerns.

Proprietor "Orsi" was amazing - great communication!! We stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary and could not have been more pleased. Room was exceptional, balcony especially. So many cute amenities, from coffee and snacks to wine glasses to outdoor chair cushions. Such personal touches go a long way toward pleasing guests! Walking distance to everything, and an affordable rate makes this place the secret hidden jewel of NOTL! We look forward to staying here again in the future!

Not quite a suite!

We booked the Diana suite for the week (5 days 4 nights). Room was nice and clean. Comfortable bed. Ideally located. Nice balcony. Quiet area. Downsides: This is not a suite. We were expecting a kitchen area to prepare daily breakfast but there is no countertop. Also, there is no lounge area only one armchair. Too many decorations. Too many cushions. The armchair was used to store the cushions! When you are on vacation, you need space to settle in. There is no mirror in the room. If you want to see what you look like, there is only one at the bottom of the step before leaving the building. Coffee was for 3 mornings and not 4. No milk. Only one pack of coffee mate. Sweets were a nice touch, but we would have preferred milk cups for coffee. Sink is so small it barely held the plates. Not worth the price we paid. If we wanted only a room, we would have booked in an hotel for less and would have had at least daily cleaning.

Great location and lovely large appointed room

Easy instructions on how to access the parking and room. Room was lovely, nicely appointed. The bed was comfortable but seemed smaller than a Queen. The only annoyance was the inability to turn off the deck lights as it made the room lighter than I would have liked. The location was really great. Overall a really nice stay.

Orsi is a great host and was quick to answer questions we had about the property. The property is very well kept and attention is paid to every detail…nothing is missed. Location is fantastic! Just a short walk from shops and restaurants and it was great having a private parking lot! We plan to vacation here again and highly recommend this property.
