Superb value for money with spacious and modern rooms with many amenities. Also liked the facilities which include a terrace and a gym. The Winfield is centrally located and close to the metro station, with many bars and restaurants around, even if Downtown LA is probably not the nicest area.

Excellent stay

This place was super. Very new and fresh. Crisp linens and thick fluffy towels. The bed was VERY comfortable. My rooms were really a 2 bed 2 bath suite. It had a kitchen and a washing machine. It was BIG. I have only one suggestion… the addition of curtains (as well as the blinds) - that would help w modesty given that my room overlooked 7th… and had apartments opposite. This was a minor thing. The gym was great - I didn’t use the yoga room but great that they had it. The lounge was v useful as I arrived before check in (tho that is a little late at 4pm..) it was GREAT!

Three night stopover for hockey game

Stayed for 3 nights and can’t complain about anything. Easy to check in and front staff very friendly and helpful. Spacious room with nice kitchen area. Great location to walk to the arena for NHL game. Highly recommend and will stay again if ever back in DTLA.

Sonder is in a great location and we loved having a small kitchen available. Unfortunately, the street can be very noisy at times, and the curtains left large gaps so quite a bit of light came in. We'd stay here again though just for the convenience.

Overall, Sonder at the Windfield was a terrific stay. I thought the ease of check-in & check-out as well as the public facilities such as luggage storage, lounge, meditation room were terrific. The room was spacious, but the heating/air system was rough. It was either too hot or too cold. I appreciated the earplugs because the street noise was quite loud.
