Just as described...including sunsets

Had an amazing few days of serenity. Chalet was in pristine condition and had everything we could have r ever needed. Owner was very responsive. We wish we could have stayed longer. We look forward to returning soon.

Sunsets - period.

What a lovely little property. The views from the deck, or inside, during sunset are pretty ridiculous. Great place to chill out and listen to the wind blow and watch the sun sink while the stars rise...

Picture Perfect

The property was just as described, spectacular views. Lovely accommodations, you won’t be roughing it. The incline to the home was part of the fun! Be sure to read all the owners expectations and there won’t be any disappointments.

Fabulous Sunsets and Awesome Accomodations

We stayed for five days over the 4th! House was Super clean and lovely, well stocked, fluffy towels and comfy bedding. Hot tub was wonderful. The highlights are the views and the sunsets! Nancy was a great hostess and checked in to be sure we were having a great time! We can’t wait to come back!

AMAZING CHALET

This is the 3rd year my friends and I have rented a 4 day weekend in March for scrapbooking. Nancy’s house is awesome and the views of the mountains are beautiful from the huge windows. The house is clean and the kitchen has everything you need for cooking your meals. The hot tub is very will maintained and clean and we enjoyed that at night looking at the beautiful mountain scenery. This is a great place to relax and enjoy your friends and family.

NRV scrapbookers

We had tried to get an opening here for a while. I see why it’s so popular. It’s has everything. A fully stocked kitchen to the margarita maker. Let’s not forget the view and hot tub. We also took advantage of a massage therapist coming out to the cabin and this was icing on the cake. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back.

Tree House Scrap

Nice location, beautiful views, sleeps 8 comfortably, crafting space better for 8, house is well stocked, and ramp to downstairs is a little steep but expected for the location. We had a great time and would rent again.

Wonderful girls weekend

We just left this beautiful home yesterday. What great views from a comfortable home. Cozy family room seating was made even better with the Christmas decorations and the glow of the fire after a gorgeous sunset! And the crafting space was awesome! Looking out over the valley was so peaceful. We enjoyed scrapbooking together with an option to curl up with a book (or kindle) on the couch. We enjoyed happy hour (loving the margarita machine!) and meals in the kitchen/dining room. The sleeping accommodations worked well for 10 and the beds were very comfortable. A wonderful weekend. Well worth the 3+ hour trip! Will definitely look at returning in the future.

Always an Excellent Getaway

My friends and I LOVE staying at the scrapbook chalet!!! It is always a fantastic experience and outstanding accommodations!! This year we even took advantage of the massage therapist who is AMAZING!!! and took in the holiday craft bazaar at the church nearby. We cannot recommend Sunset Ridge Chalet enough for a weekend getaway!!

Great stay!

The scrapbook cottage is a great place to stay and relax. I have always been so impressed with the cleanliness of the house. The beds are very comfortable and the house has everything you need for a great relaxing time. Worth every penny spent! Already have our reservation for next year!!!

Awesome Girls Weekend

This is our third year at this house and we love it. The house is great with stunning views. We love that we can spread out and have room for all of our activities: scrapbooking, reading, getting massages, watching football and baseball, taking naps and hanging out in the hot tub. What more can you ask for???!! Nancy is very easy to work with and has always been accommodating. We are already booked for 2020!!!

Our 2nd Visit

This was our second visit. Everything was wonderful. The house is maintained nicely. We enjoyed our selves so much we are going to book for a third weekend next year. We would highly recommend this house for anyone looking to spend some quality time together. The view is fabulous and the environment is very relaxing.

The location is lovely and the overall of the house is very good.

The Scrapbook Chalet was a great weekend for the 9 of us. A few small hiccups were handled to our satisfaction by the owner. Already planning our next trip.

Beautiful chalet!

10 of us were at the chalet for a scrapbooking weekend (our 2nd visit to this location). The house is beautiful and well-stocked. The kitchen has all you need and the rooms are beautiful. The scrapbooking room is terrific and we had an amazing time. See you again next year!

Subset Chalet

Overall a wonderful experience, one thing that we didn't enjoy was the septic system seemed to omit an odor also we were shocked after arriving that there was a list of fines which we thought should have been mentioned before we booked so we knew what we were getting into. But it was a lovely place and location in the mountains

Amazing scrapbooking hide away

This is a perfect location for a scrapbooking weekend with friends. The chalet is fully equipped with everything you need. The views are amazing too. You can even get some exercise in walking/hiking the road. We will definitely be back.

Crafters bliss!

Great location for crafters of all kinds. We had scrapbookers, knitters, embroidery makers, quilt makers and genealogy makers. Fun time during our stay! 2nd trip there and as good as the 1st time. Will return again!

Relax and chill this summer

If you haven't stayed at Sunset Ridge chalet, book it RIGHT NOW! My group of friends stay here at least once a year, sometimes twice. To be honest, we are spending less time working on our projects and more time enjoying the chalet. What's better than awesome views, beautiful sunsets, a nighttime hot tub soak, good friends and lots of space to relax and chill. Winchester is fun to explore, lots of shops and great restaurants. I highly recommend Kimberly's for shopping. Nancy has everything well-appointed to make your stay comfortable. Check out the basket of brochures for information on the local area. You are sure to find something special! We always look forward to the next girls weekend!

If you are into crafts, you know how HARD it is to find a nice vacation retreat that has A) nice accommodations, B) a convenient location, C) luxury and D) a nice crafting area with views! Then, add to the challenge that the best places are booked a year in advance! I wanted to offer the best of all worlds. I hope you agree that Sunset Ridge IS the scrapbooking retreat you have always dreamed of! Furnishings and beds are very comfortable - you can't have a great time if your back hurts (and we have all had that experience on vacation, right?)! And the walking ramp eliminates the need to get your supplies up and down stairs.
