Glad you were able to have a fabulous weekend and you were patient about the AC unit having trouble. Unfortunately, although I called service asap when I found out, the unit needed a new part so it was not able to be fixed in time for your stay. Hopefully you will be back and enjoy the beautiful chalet at the temperature of your choice!

Hi Tiffany, I am glad to get your five star review. Thank you. However, I must say I was quite surprised by the comments in your review. I was in regular communications with you during your stay and you did not mention any of these things. In 8 years, I have only seen a snake once, and I just checked with the housekeeper, landscaper and property manager and none of them have ever seen one. We will remove the wood from the area you mentioned, just to be on the safe side. New bulbs are regularly put in prior to every renter, so I am not sure what happened there. I have double-checked with the housekeeper to ensure that everything is all bright and shiny for renters, and no burned out bulbs!There are covers for the microwave in the cabinets, perhaps you overlooked them. I have also asked the property manager to see if there are any new wasp nests and sincerely apologize if wasps were a problem for you. We rake and smooth out the driveway for every guest. There has been an excessive amount of rain this spring and summer which has loosened the gravel, but we take great care to make the drive as smooth as reasonably possible. We are looking into options to have the driveway paved in the future. Thank you for your feedback.
