Weekend retreat

A fabulous lodge with great amenities. I will definitely return asap with my family. This was a solo trip to Filey. Thankyou and will definitely recommend. Cosy, excellent bathrooms, comfortable beds. Everything I needed!

A lovely short break

What a lovely comfortable and well equipped lodge, perfect location with great outdoor space. Very spacious for 2 of us with a dog, you easily get 4 adults in and not feel over crowded as it's a great layout and very good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. I'd highly recommend it

Great stay at the Blue Moon

I’ve been to The Bay many times but this is the first time I’ve stayed in the Blue Moon and it was great! Spacious property, clean, great location and it had everything you needed to enjoy a great stay. Will definitely be booking to stay there again.

Back to our Happy Place

We stayed at Blue moon years ago before it was Blue Moon when the Bay first opened . We loved it so much but as our family grew it was no longer big enough to house everyone ..This time there were only four of us plus dog and we wanted to return to see what it was like now . It is still the same Happy house it was , the decor is just us we immediately felt right at home . From the decor to paintings and soft furnishings and thoughtful touches like books, dvds and toys thete was something for everyone . We had a great weekend and the sun shone for 3 days , unexpected for October . Thanks Blue Moon we will be back again soon

Relaxing Break

The tahiti beach houses are very spacious. We were a family of 4 adults and a dog. Plenty of room on the sofa for us all and around the dinner table. Has everything you need and more. Very clean. Having 2 parking spaces side by side is good for us so not having to move cars around. We have stopped at the bay over 10 times now, in different types of accommodation but as my parents are less mobile these are better and we are like the space.. Had an issue this time which Paula and her team tried to resolved. As my mum is very poorly we ate in and as the issue was the dishwasher it meant we had to wash up by hand but apart from that we had a lovely break just what the doctor ordered.

Absolutly stunning place

Perfect location perfect service,beautiful accommodation home from home just amazing honestly was blown away the little touches were heart felt just perfect thankyou so very very much such a beautiful place and brilliant customer service .

Excellent Stay

Arrived for a couple of nights stay and must say accommodation was very clean, spacious and comfy. The kids loved all the additional items like the board games and beach items. Location couldn't of been better right next to the park, swimming pool and shop.

Perfect holiday home

A beautiful house in the perfect location. The pool and pub are a few minutes walk,ideal for my 80 year old parents. We could sit on the decking with a cuppa and watch our little one play on the playground The house is fully equipped with everything you need for a perfect stay. We will definitely be booking again.

Fantastic cottage in great location.

We've stayed in lots of properties at the Bay Filey over the years and this has to be one of our favourites. The extra large kitchen diner is so spacious and bright and the bedrooms also large and comfortable. Lots of lovely personal touches make a big difference. The only things that could improve the cottage IMO would be a normal shower head in addition to the rainfall showers as it is quite difficult to rinse just using the rainfall. Also, a small airfryer would be really handy and save having to fire up the oven.

Great lodge for a family holiday

Thats is the second time we have stayed at the Filey bay but first time we have stayed at the blue moon, We where a group of three separate family's and we ended up paying a little more for a bigger lodge as we all wanted to be near the park and i am really glad we did. The lodge is a real home from home and you can tell the owners have put a lot of thought into it, the kitchen/living area are a great size and the beds are really comfy! I also loved the coffee machine. Would highly recommend if your stay at the bay

Relaxing stay

A beautiful, comfortable home from home. Everything you need for a fab break. Lovely and clean property, close to amenities and to the beach path. Lovely little touches within property. We have stayed at The Bay three times and although the other properties were great, Blue Moon is our definite favourite ❤️ Thank you

Return visit

Our 3rd stay at this gorgeous holiday home. It is so homely, well equipped and clean. There is everything you need so makes packing simple! You, your clothes and the basics food wise before a shop at the local Tesco the day after arrival. The Bay is beautiful so this lodge is well placed for much needed R&R. Thank you for sharing your holiday home with us. We will be back.

Perfect

This is our 3rd time in Blue Moon. We love it, home from home for us and our dogs. Everything has been thought of, even down to a doggy bag with ball & treats. Its in a good quiet location, close to meadow, beach and facilities. We will definitely come back again.

Excellent well appointed accommodation

We had a great family stay at Blue Moon. The house is fully equipped with literally everything you can imagine to make your stay comfortable. It has a great location near all the facilities and is a 10 min walk to the beach. We used the pool daily, it was clean and not too cold. The only negatives were the pub was a little expensive and most of the arcades were broken.

Blue Moon a lovely lodge

The lodge itself is the best we have stayed in. It was very clean, well equipped and in a good location at The Bay. You can’t fault the Lodge itself at all. The grounds weren’t as well kept as when we have previously visited but this is not a reflection on the Blue Moon. We would definitely return

Wow thanks for saying it's the best lodge you've stayed in. That is so nice to hear. The grounds are managed by the resort and they have got behind with all the wet weather this year! The grass was cut just after you left.

Christmas 2023

We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Moon. It was everything that it claimed to be in the booking description plus more. The Christmas decs made us feel welcome. Also want to say thank you for the lovely welcome gifts. It was just right for the Christmas break.
