Driftwood was perfect for our short stay, wish we were staying longer and would definitely stay again. The house had exactly what we needed and then some, was clean and had a charm to it. The host Chris was great.

This cottage gives you the memories you had of your childhood with your family staying at a cottage on the lake. Is is quaint and had plenty of room for our family. Watch for the note about towels and sheets though.

Family vacation

We had never visited Michigan before this and absolutely fell in love! This little cabin is in a beautiful spot with fun things to do right there on the lake, like use of paddle boards and other water toys and kids loved playing pickle all and basketball and we all learned shuffleboard for the first time. Peaceful and beautiful location, great for families or couples!

Summer Fun

Our family had such a great time here at the Driftwood Cabin. We had the best time taking advantage of the kayaks, paddle boards, fire place and sand toys all provided. Christian is the best host and went over and beyond to make our family feel comfortable. 10/10 for our first family vacation as a family of 5. Can’t wait to return!

Perfect Location

The cottage is older, but well equipped with everything you’ll need for the week and impeccably clean. Chris, the property manager was available and always helpful. The location is what truly made this stay shine. Walking distance or a short drive to Glen Arbor’s downtown. A quiet, secluded part of beautiful Glen Lake with its own private beach. A short drive to Sleeping Bear and also Pyramid Point, Leland, North Port and other great up north cities. We would definitely stay at this location again.

Awesome setting

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Access to the beach and other activities was right out the door. Manager/owner was helpful and very friendly, also quick to fix our one issue. (propane tank ran out of gas, replaced within 5 minutes) We would definitely return!

This place has it all

We had such a great stay at the Driftwood cabin. Everything was extremely clean and comfortable. Even though the weather in early June was a bit chilly for much lake activity, there was still plenty to do to keep our 3 teens busy, happy and off their phones! The lovely town of Glen Arbor is within walking distance, yet the cabin was very quiet and and restful. I could have just sat and enjoyed the lake view all day. Chris was very helpful and available. We would love to return.

Perfect location

Our family has a lovely time at the Driftwood cottage even though the weather didn’t cooperate. Chris is incredibly helpful and friendly, he went out of his way for us and we really appreciated everything! We got to enjoy the beach/water the first day but the rest of the time was cold and/or rainy. Fortunately there is a pickle ball court that we were able to use and we made great memories. The cottage is close enough to walk into Glen Arbor so we did that and went on a hike at the dune climb. The cottage is super cute and had everything we needed. Lots of time spent playing games and being together as a family which we value as our kids are getting older. The beach frontage is beyond fabulous and we would love to return to enjoy the lake and sun at some point!

A step back in time on a one-of-a-kind property. Perfect for families with kids of all ages, or maybe just a quiet retreat. With the town of Glen Arbor within walking distance, Glen Lake, the Lake Michigan, Sleeping Bear Dunes, there’s something for everyone. 10/10

Lovely Northern Michigan lake cabin, just what we had hoped for! Easy water access, right next to a marina where you can rent jet skis or a pontoon boat, within walking distance to Lake Michigan and the cute little shops in Glen Arbor.

Nice weekend away

Enjoyed our Labor Day weekend away. Beautiful setting and Glen Lake is always the best! Host was helpful and caring for our short trip!

Amazing property & location

You can’t beat this cottage property, the location, or the hospitality of the host. The lake/beach area was a dream (we used the stand up paddleboards, shuffleboard, picnic, and beach area often). You are super close to town, and the property itself was exactly what I was hoping a beach cottage would be. It had all the amenities we needed, was spacious, and we were incredibly comfortable. The host was super friendly and accessible. Perfect vacation destination.

Wonderful relaxing family vacation!!!

We had a fabulous time here with our two young kids! Our cottage was very clean, comfortable, and was fully stocked. We loved being able to walk right out to Big Glen Lake. It is crystal clear and absolutely stunning! The shuffle board was right out front that we played daily. We really enjoyed the paddle boards and paddle boat. So much to do right at the resort but so close to town and the dunes. Also, the owner Chis is so nice and incredibly helpful. This is one of our best vacations! We will definitely be back!!!

Comfortable family vacation

Family of five enjoyed our week of vacation. Relaxing setting with things for the kids to do. Clean, well stocked cabin. Beautiful grounds and views. Very responsive owner. Walk to Glen Arbor. Visit the dunes.
