Wye Lodge is ideally situated near to the Brecon Beacons National Park with plenty of walking and cycling routes.. All on the Ground Floor:

Open plan living space.

Living area: 32" TV, Sky, DVD Player, Electric Fire, Patio Doors Leading To Garden

Dining area.

Kitchen area: Electric Oven, Gas Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher

Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack.. Lawned garden with patio and garden furniture (shared with other properties on-site). Hot tub (private). Fishing on-site (licence required). Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced river in the grounds, 220 yards away.. Located on a campsite, this lovely wooden lodge is located in a riverside location and is ideal for guests who enjoy fishing as the property has fishing rights to the River Wye, with salmon and trout, and coarse fishing too (licence required). There are plenty of walks from the lodge and the Brecon Beacons is a 30-minute drive. Guests are welcome to bring kayaks and canoes to use on the nearby river (October-March). The Royal Welsh Showground is only 5 miles and there is a great golf course 4 miles from the property in Builth Wells. The Elan Valley is a 30-minute drive where you will find many walking and cycling trails and an abundance of wildlife. Red kites are found in the Elan Valley and there is a feeding station nearby. Wye Lodge is close to a campsite and also on the National Cycle Network and offers plenty of lanes and hills for those interested in mountain biking. Builth Wells offers a cinema, golf course, swimming pool and plenty of shops and restaurants. Wye Lodge is in the perfect place to relax and listen to the wildlife and the river flowing by whilst watching the sun go down. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Wye Lodge can be booked together with Edw Lodge (UK10129) to accommodate up to 10 guests.

Great lodge, hot tub fantastic and surrounding area is beautiful!The lodge is spacious and bedrooms are a good size, having two bathrooms is a real bonus! Wi-Fi is really good and it is in a good place for walks and shops close by. Only thing I would say is if you’re going in the summer make sure to take a fan with you, the lodge got quite hot and without a fan we found it difficult to sleep, had to head out and buy a couple. Overall, a fab stay and definitely would return!

We recently stayed at this cottage and had a mostly pleasant experience.

We recently stayed at this cottage and had a mostly pleasant experience. The cabin itself was very nice, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere that we thoroughly enjoyed. We also appreciated the thoughtful welcome gift.That being said, there were a couple of issues that detracted from our stay. One side of the hot tub had jets that weren’t working properly, and we also noticed it wasn’t as clean as we would have hoped. Additionally, while we understand that some people may enjoy the company of the resident cat, a few members of our group were not fond of it. The cat repeatedly approached us while we were in the hot tub, which made some of the girls uncomfortable and unable to fully enjoy the experience.Despite these concerns, the cabin itself was lovely, and we did appreciate the effort that went into making our stay welcoming. With a few adjustments, this could easily be a five-star experience.

Rats in the roof space

Property was fine hot tub was grat decking smelled of dog wee.it was ok for a short trip. But we never got any sleep due to rats scratching , chewing and running around from 23.00- 04.30 so with this it has ruined are weekend showing at the Royal welsh show ground. We did notice the property has rodent repellant plug in so maybe this is an going problem.

Despite a shaky start to our seven day break in Wales.

Despite a shaky start to our seven day break in Wales. The issues we initially encountered e.g. a lack of overall cleanliness (due to the employed cleaner not completing the required work) and the discovery of no advertised washing machine, the owner was deeply apologetic and resolved the problems encountered in a fair and friendly manner. The location is peaceful and ideal if you have a pet dog. All in all it proved to be a nice place to stay.

The property is well-located and met most of our requirements.

The property is well-located and met most of our requirements. It's not as well-presented as the price suggests and the photos don't tell you that you are surrounded by static caravans. The property was very clean, but the nearby rubbish/recycling area was overflowing. It was good for a long weekend but I'm not sure I would spend a whole week there.
