Fully renovated villa on the well-known club atlantico. First class location, only the garden and a walking path to the sea. Private swimming pool (heatable) with two terraces around it and a roof terrace with lots of privacy and sea views all around. Modern kitchen with all mod cons and many kitchen utensils, comfortable beds in the standard two bedrooms. Third bedroom on request. All bedrooms air-conditioned. Two modern bathrooms. Wifi, IPtv, BBQ.

Really lovely property. Very clean Pool was quite cold but in the summer months this must be a blessing. I would recommend this villa to anyone wanting a quiet break

Thank you for your kind review. Indeed the pool can be quite cold by the end of September as the nights are getting chilly. Overnight the water loses the warmth that is accumulated during the day. But we have an option for pool heating.....

Wonderful villaJust loved the villa the pool the sea view and the terrace where we enjoyed morning coffees and evening drinks and cardsThe villa was clean and had everything you neededThe location is great restaurants in walking distance although a car is great Loved going to the Boneca bar a tapas and wine restaurant called Cro wine and tapas and the Indian restaurant Pashmina but all the places we ate at were goodAlso did a dolphins and Benacil caves tour which was brilliantWe hope to return one dayThank you

We were disappointed that there was no shampoo or laundry soap since we had to wash the pool towels. Also a screen on the pool door would have been nice.

Thank you for the 5 stars. The little inconvenience apparently did not bother you much. As for the shampoo: it is a house, not a hotel. At some point we did give out the little bottles but that ends in 2029 and we prefer to already comply. As for soap: in the manual your received we suggest bringing some basics, including washing powder. Sometimes other guests leave a bit but you were not that lucky. Apart from these two subjects I understood you had a great time.

I had a good time in Villa Miramar. The villa is consistent with the pictures on the web site, it’s well equipped and placed in a key place to walk alongside the coast. We have appeciated to stay on the rooftop at the sunset. The internal parts are well cleaned while some external parts can be dirty because of birds, but the issue is not manageable.Herman and Maria Jose are fantastic hosts and provide a complete package of instructions and suggestions.

We had a great stay at Casa Miramar. The place was well equipped with everything we needed. It had a great view, and I love that the trail was right in front of the property. I enjoyed having my morning coffee on the terrace upstairs. It was just beautiful. My kids LOVED the pool and wanted to just stay there the whole trip :) The unit was clean and comfortable and in a great location. Herman was amazing! I had a lot of questions and he answered me right away. Thank you!!

This property is excellent. Outstanding location on the edge of the cliff overlooking the ocean and few minute walk down to Carvalho beach. The villa is well appointed with a fully stocked kitchen, private pool and washer dryer.

Superb!

First holiday for three years and this place was a great choice. The location is perfect with a view out to sea, the villa is very well equipped, really clean. Lots of things to do and nice places to eat around there. Good comms with the owners who are lovely. Highly recommended!

Awesome Algarve

The property was excellent in all respects. Beautiful pool area and spectacular views. Beaches close by and either walking or short driving distance.

Place was amazing, only slight negative was the bed in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable. We had to use the management company for a leak and they were amazing !

Thank you for the kind words. I am indeed happy with our management. It is the 4th company over the last 20 years or so and it is extremely difficult to find a good one. I hope they stay this way. As for the bed: we are looking for new but in Portugal they usually are very firm and we did not find a good substitution. We like soft but also not too soft so it will be replaced but when... probably winter 2025-2026.

Can’t wait to stay here again!

Perfectly located right on one of the cliffs. Literally walk out the back door, pass the pool, and out the back gate and watch the most amazing sunsets you’ve ever seen! House was adequately equipped with everything we needed. Washer, dryer, etc. location was perfect, just minutes from some amazing dining!

Lovely Villia in a Great location

Great villa, perfect for family holiday with kids. Hosts quick with communication. Location ideal with lovely beaches literally a stones throw away. The villia is well equiped with everything you would likely need and the option of heating the pool is great with younger children.

One of the best properties we have stayed at. Location was excellent, the house was great for 4 adults. We enjoyed the pool and the view! Praia de Carvalho was a quick 5 min walk. 10 min leisure walk. Down a series of steps into a cave staircase and you have your own small beach with rocks view. The hike to the lighthouse to the west is easy, you will be rewarded with great views. We visited the other beaches in Lagos but nothing beats relaxing by the pool with family and dining Al fresco. Host instructions for housekeeping and supermarkets are accurate and suggested restaurants appreciated. O Algar is our favorite with their fresh fish. Bella Vita was a nice change with great Italian food and pizza. I would add to check out Dumar at the Benagil area. Note that we did have water interruptions for about 2 hrs for two days due to road construction. This did not bother us at all. Also keep in mind that due to old structures of drainage, there is a faint drain smell in the kitchen. I would pour vinegar down the drain and that seems to help. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven. We loved our stay and will be back.

Good afternoon Gina, thank you for the review, good to know you liked it. The drain thing is solved: the tubes a bit further down the road were almost blocked with roots and therefor the wastewater did not flow freely. And you know that dirty water that stagnates starts smelling. But the roots are cleared away. So your next stay will be even better.

A perfect week in Portugal

The property was absolutely stunning, with a location and vista of dreams. Not a single issue and the communication with owners was great, and very accommodating. Just to note, access to property by car requires patience at times as the approach road is a popular parking spot for a well visited beach.

We had a wonderful week in this villa. It is clean and very well equipped. The pool was lovely. The front of the house was right next to the small car park for the nearest beach. It's a lovely beach with great snorkelling. We also walked across to the other side of the beach for a lovely meal at O Algar. Plus had a wonderful day out at Slide & Splash. Plenty of other nice restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Great location. Definitely recommend a car. The villa owners were really responsive and friendly. Overall, highly recommended!

Wonderful location, beautiful view and easy-to-work-with hosts!

We had an excellent family vacation at Maria and Herman's home in Southern Portugal. The view is exceptional and the location is very quiet which is what we wanted. Maria was very easy to work with. Amazing place

This place is amazing! There is so much to love from the pool, the view and the roof terrace. It was absolutely perfect for us, the air con in the bedrooms kept us cool at night and the lounge and kitchen were great. The Italian restaurant nearby is amazing and you're walking distance to the beach though with views like that we barely left the villa. There's a small supermarket nearby which was great for fresh bread and milk (and wine) and a bigger one a short distance away. My wife said its one of the few places that she would come back to.

Villa is as advertised, amazing location out the back gate to the cliff side. Villa is fully equipped, all the essentials and more. Owner was quick to respond when asked. We used it as a base to explore the Algarve, found it to be a great location.

Great experience

We are a family of four and spent two weeks in Herman’s house : everything was perfect. The house is located in an incredible sea front line with a gorgeous view to gardens and sea, the house was also very clean and perfectly well equipped , the services company taking care of the house was also very efficient. In a nutshell, we absolutely recommend this house rental. Enjoy !!

Amazing location

This property was perfect! The location (backing on to the beautiful Algarve coast path) was amazing. Just beyond the back gate are fabulous walks in both directions and a stunning beach just 5 minutes walk. The apartment was spacious, stylish, well equipped and clean. The pool area and roof terrace were also great offering both sun and shade during the day and amazing sunsets in the evening. Communication with both the owner and management was easy and friendly. There are fantastic restaurants in walking distance and others a short drive away. We will definitely return here next time we come to the Algarve.

Gorgeous location!

After some minor set-backs at check-in (only 1 key provided for 3 locks / one bedroom locked), we had a very lovely stay! The property owner and local mangers were quick to resolve the check-in issues and communication was great!The location and views cannot be beat. We had everything we needed for a fantastic 5 nights. The sunsets from the roof deck are gorgeous. Hiking right behind the property! A car is highly suggested for getting around, we were very glad to have ours. We paid to heat the pool for our stay in early June and were very glad that we did. I don't think we would have been in the pool otherwise but we were used the pool everyday. Restaurants, beaches, and groceries are only a few minutes drive away. We would highly recommend this lovely property and would love to return someday!

Thanks you for your review. As mentioned the key and locked room issue was due to the usual property manager being on holiday. That is now solved. As for the casa: we do our best to make it an ideal holiday home... And it looks like we succeeded.

Idyllic

Beautiful, well equipped villa in a gorgeous location. Excellent support and information before our stay. Made use of the owners recommendations for taxis, restaurants and supermarkets. The villa was exceptionally clean on arrival and the bed in the master bedroom really comfy. The villa had everything we needed for our stay but the wi fi was a bit patchy but useable. Everything was as expected and perfect, the only criticism was the pathway at the bottom of the garden. on cooler days it was extremely busy and some of the walkers invaded our privacy by climbing on the boundary and staring in at us but we positioned the sun loungers to maintain privacy while around the pool so not a major problem and not a criticism of the owners/management. Would definitely recommend the whole experience.

Thank you for your kind words. We'll look into the wifi, it is fiber so shouldn't be like that. As for privacy: we had to choose between closing up the garden to have more privacy so losing the seaview from terrace and pool or leaving it open. As the roof terrace offers good privacy we left the garden open and stay on top when we don't want people staring.
