The estate was built by a wealthy Andalusian family in the period from 1940 to 1945 and consists of a large house (450 m2), 4 stables (200 m2), a large swimming pool (7 x 11 m) and a large garden with mainly orange trees ( 2500 m2). Location and climate

Finca La Cañota is located in the center of the village of Talará, within walking distance of all local amenities: three mini-markets, various shops (clothing, butcher, bakery, hairdresser, etc.) three banks with cash machines, the town hall of Lecrin, a GP station , a pharmacy, a post office, two gas stations, a primary school and an outdoor swimming pool that is open in July and August. There are also several bars and restaurants where you can enjoy a drink with a free tapa, breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Talará is the municipal capital of the municipality of Lecrin. The villages of Talará, Acequias, Chite, Mondújar, Murchas and Béznar belong to the municipality of Lecrin.
