Timberview Lodge - Wooded East Texas views

Timberview Lodge is nestled in the trees at Hawkeye Hunting Club in Center, Texas. Timberview was completely renovated in late 2016 and boasts a kitchen, spacious great room, bar, two story stone fireplace and large upstairs loft complete with a pool table and TV viewing area. On the ground floor there are four bedrooms with two queens in each with private bathrooms. All rooms have DIRECTV. Internet service (wi-fi) is available at the lodge. The lodge also has its own deck and fire pit area; the property's community swimming pool is located a short walk away behind Main Lodge. There are two lakes on property available for fishing or canoeing. Toledo Bend, one of the largest bass lakes in Texas, is only a 20 minute drive from the lodge.. Additionally, we offer (at an extra cost) a 5-stand (clay shooting) and sporting clay course. Antique shopping and other attractions are available in the nearby towns of Center and Nacogdoches. Timberview Lodge is a great place to have your next family vacation. Give us a call and come relax with us at Hawkeye! Check in is after 2 p.m. and checkout is 11 a.m.

Perfect Getaway

Thank you Travis for hosting this beautiful property. We live in South Louisiana and evacuated for Hurricane Ida. Travis was very accommodating and was available to answer all of our questions. The cabin is HUGE and has an amazing vibe to it. We all loved the upstairs loft with the Pool Table. The outside property was gorgeous. The inside was so clean. We can't wait to go back!

Great Family Weekend with Older Generation

I've stayed on many, many VRBO properties over the years, and this is the first property that exceeded the pictures. The lodge was FABULOUS. We didn't see another soul on the grounds near the cabin, but on our check out day watched about six vehicles drive by from a neighboring cabin. Myself and my husband hosted our parents and some of my aunts for a long weekend, and a few came for the day - all over 60. It was fantastic. We had a lot of storytelling, food, and fun. My father is disabled and on O2, and because everything is downstairs, it was an elderly and disabled person's dream. Even in a pretty good thunderstorm the view was amazing, watching the water come down outside through the back bay windows across the lodge. Husband is a current cancer patient and was able to sleep/nap in the room without being disturbed by all our laughter and boisterous storytelling in the main part of the lodge and kitchen. Very well equipped and beautiful, exceptionally clean.

This place is awesome!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hawkeye! The lodge was beautiful and the management was so helpful. Travis answered all our questions and helped us before arrival, and Taylor was awesome once we arrived. The place was clean, and the set up is great for a large group. We fished and caught a lot (they provided equipment for us) & went on the boats provided. We used the tennis courts, enjoyed nature (saw deer), used the awesome fire pit for s’mores, played pool, and absolutely loved the swimming pool! We forgot what my husband would say is the most important thing, coffee, and Taylor brought us some! This is a great place to get away and I would highly recommend it. We hope to come back in the future!

Amazing

Perfect get away. So much for the kids to do. The amenities were top notch. The pool was clean and fun. We fished, boated, and explored. Fire pits are great. One of the best experiences we’ve had. Can’t wait to go back. Managers were super responsive. The place is easy to find despite seeming to be remote. Highly recommended.

Beautiful property

The houses in the property are spaced apart in a way that you can enjoy the surrounding trees, lake, and all East Texas nature has to offer with privacy. Timberview Lodge is HUGE and fully stocked with the necessities (cooking utensils, dishes, towels, etc). Communication with the property managers was excellent. We wish we could have stayed an extra few days!

Awesome awesome resort. We did a couple retreat. Played games and got some much needed rest.
