Huge outdoor deck with fjord and mountain views, great for large groups or families. All bedrooms are en-suite, with underfloor heating in all bathrooms/wetrooms and stunning views.

3 ground floor en-suite bedrooms provide direct access to the deck area with spectacular views of Godøysund island and the surrounding area. A well-apportioned kitchen with breakfast bar leads into an open plan dining area and living room with various entertainment options provided. Underfloor heating throughout bedrooms, bathrooms and social areas on the ground floor.

The first floor provides access to the upper apartment via a large covered porch area. There is a further, large, open plan kitchen/dining/living room with a small balcony area adjacent to the kitchen. A utility room and WC are situated in the hallway. The owners retain a private room on this floor (not in use during guest visits).

The second floor provides 4 further spacious en-suite bedrooms, all featuring the additional benefit of double sofa beds. Of the main beds: one bed is a king, two are large doubles, and one is a large frame featuring 2 single mattresses.

There is underfloor heating in the hallways, communal internal social space and en-suite bathrooms in the upper apartment.

Other things to note:

The whole property comprises 7 bed, 7.5 bath, sleeping up to 22 across 3 floors. The property is split into a ground floor apartment (3 bed/3 bath, kitchen, living room/dining area) and an upper level apartment (4 bed/4.5 bath, kitchen, balcony, living room/dining area plus kitchenette). The ground floor dining table seats 6, the middle floor dining table seats 10-12, and the upper balcony table seats 4 with an additional bench. The outdoor furniture for the deck area seats 8-12.

Please note, there is a small step into each room on the ground floor, with same level access to each room from the deck area only.

The property has a ground level hot tub, and is surrounded by steep drops. There are also building materials and construction areas on the surrounding islands; therefore please ensure small children are supervised at all times.

There are two cots/cribs at the property and you are, of course, welcome to bring your own. Please note the property is not 'babyproofed'.

We are sorry, but the hot tub is currently out of order.

About the neighbourhood:

Excellent hiking, cycling, fishing etc. in the local area.

Getting around:

It is a long walk from the property to the main road! We therefore suggest arriving by car or boat, both of which provide ample opportunity for exploring the local area.

There are regular ferries from Bergen area via the Våge/Halhjem ferry, or it is a very scenic 'drive around' the fjords via the FV 48/49 (around 130km via this route to Bergen airport). We are also around 55km from Stord airport, with both airports offering a choice of car rental companies.
