The property was in a brilliant location for us. Easy to get to the railway station for trips out of Pisa and great for getting to the sights of Pisa and good restaurants. Giovanni met us and was very friendly and helpful. Cosy house, just what we needed.

Centrally located but no washing machine

Location is good for either historic town centre or shopping and the train station. Interesting overall well equipped flat with mosquitoes net on the windows and Wi-Fi, but absence of the washing machine and washing line was an unexpected inconvinience to us, and the owner's suggestion to plan our holiday around the local laundry open hours was not helpful. We had nowhere to dry our swimming suits and the beach towels eirher. We still enjoyed our holiday but kind of despite staying in the flat not thanks to staying in the flat. We have booked the flat well in advance and booked and paid for the flat with the washing machine. Only when we have arrived to the flat, the owner informed us that the washing machine was removed several months ago. He never informed us about this change to his flat, while we still could have cancelled and book another flat with the washing machine.

Gute Lage, nette Gastgeber

Das Quartier liegt sehr gut zwischen Bahnhof und historischem Zentrum am Arno. Man kommt überall schnell zu Fuß hin und um die Ecke gibt es ein sehr gutes Restaurant und auch Bäcker und Supermarkt. Giovanni empfing uns mit Cantucci und viel Informationen und Tipps zu Pisa und Umgebung (Reiseführer, Stadtpläne etc.). Eine "Erstversorgung" mit Lebensmitteln (Kaffee, Wasser, Öl/Essig etc.) war netterweise in der Küche vorhanden. Die Wohnung war bei der Hitze angenehm kühl, aber leider schlecht zu lüften, da beide Fenster übereinander liegen. Dadurch war die Luft z.T. etwas muffig. Die Waschmaschine, die in der Beschreibung angegeben war, gab es nicht. Für uns war das kein Problem, aber wenn man sich darauf beim Packen verlässt, ist es schlecht.

Magnifico posto dove passare un soggiorno felice

Abbiamo passato 5 giorni nella “Casina” di Pisa, e siamo stati benissimo! Il posto è bello, comodo, ordinato, pulito e pieno di confort. In più il proprietario è una persona affidabile, disponibile e gentilissima. Situata in una posizione ottimale, la consiglierei ad ogni mio conoscente che volesse organizzare una vacanza a Pisa.

Lovely apartment, excellent location.

This really is a lovely apartment. The photographs do not do it justice. The glass staircase is magnificent, as is the master bedroom with its comfortable bed and plentiful storage space. The living area had everything we needed for our short stay. It is well situated for all the local sights and is easily accessible from the airport or train station. Public transport is cheap, clean and efficient. Pisa is a good centre for visiting the other Tuscan attractions. Giovanni was there to meet us on arrival and he was a very good host. All communications with him were excellent. We would recommend this apartment.

Great stay

The appartment is vey comfortable, clean and close to both the attractions and the train station. Giovanni was easy to communicate with and fast to respond. He was kind and service minded. If you are travelling not during the summer take a pair of warm socks because the stone floor is a bit cold which is nice for warm days. We had a great stay and can highly recommend the place.

Fantastic - amazing! Will stay again!

Giovanni was there to meet us in a smooth transition from Pisa airport to the flat (it's so close!). He showed us around the flat and gave us some tips for Pisa :) the flat is really easy to maintain and there is lots of room to cook and store food. Giovanni is such a good host and he has such a beautiful flat. The best thing about the flat is that it is on the river practically! That view shown - he is not kidding - that is the view you get. And it is so reasonably priced - you'd do a lot worse than to stay here. Me and my partner used the train quite a lot and that was a short stroll away too! Oh and to top it all off - Giovanni left us a lovely bottle of red to welcome us to our first night in Pisa. I couldn't say anything nicer! Enjoy your stay :)

Lovely apartment in great location

The apartment was very clean, spacious and well designed. It was easy walking distance to everything. Giovanni was very helpful and quick to respond. We were welcomed with a package of delicious biscotti on our table. We found the condiments left in the kitchen very helpful and did cook one meal there. Giovanni also gave us a ride to the station, which was greatly appreciated. We stayed here 4 days, visiting Lucca, and the beach on 2 days, so it was a great location for us. Thank you Giovanni, we would stay here again. James and sandra

Bellissima appartamento nel centro storico di Pisa

Siamo stati 4 giorni nella "Casina" in Pisa. Questo bello, commodo appartamento é situato dirretamente al Arno, entre la cappelina e il ponte, vuol dire nel centro del centro storico della bellisimma cittá di Pisa. Nel appartamento si trova tutte le cose di cui c´é bisogno. La cocina, con veramente tutto, un bel bagno, grande e pulitissimo, tutto é a posto. La casa é stata ristorata con details di architettura chi mostranno una bella esthettica e un amore per queste cose, senza essere mai di un gusto dubbioso. Quest´appartamento recommendarei voluntieri, sia per amici, famiglia, parenti, genitori. Di lá si puó fare degli bellissimi viaggi, sia da Lúcca, la spiaggia (siamo andati da "Marina di Pisa, anche bella, oppúre colla macchina 5 terre, dové passavamo um giorno indimenticabile á Riomaggiore) o in paese. Giovanni é un ospite molto gentile con molte idee e racommendazioni. All prossim volta.

Thomas e il suo amico, sono stati ospiti meravigliosi. Rispettosi delle regole di casa. Sono persone molto gentili e disponibili, la casa era in ordine e pulita. Sono felice di averli ospitati, sono i benvenuti in qualsiasi momento.

Nice stay in Pisa

The accomodation is a newly renovated flat that is located near the river Arno and very central in the city. It is a nice, fully-furnished and well equipped appartment with living room, kitchen, bathroom and a sleeping room upstairs. From here, you can walk to almost all places in Pisa, e.g. 15 minutes to the tower and 10 minutes to the station. We enoyed our stay and Giovanni was very friendly, helpful and reliable. He reacted immediately when we had questions by email; information about Pisa incl. a city map were available in the flat and he organized a taxi to the airport at sunday morning at six o ´clock. Great accomodation in the center

I was 5 days in Pisa and I am glad I stayed in this apartment. It was very clean and it looked recently renovated, the kitchen and bathroom seem almost new. Everything worked perfectly. I think it is ideal for the summer because the thick stone walls keep the apartment cool even if it is over 35ºC outside. It is very well located, not just to visit the Tower and the city center but to use as a "base camp" to explore Tuscany (it is a walking distance to the train station from where you can easily get trains to the most important cities) The owner was very nice and helpful with everything, and it is a plus that he speaks English. I will definitely recommend the place and I am looking forward to go back there myself.

Alba has been excellent a guest, she observed the rules of the house was tidy and clean. Alba has been careful and precise in communicating times (arrival and departure). I am happy to have she housed, is always welcome, recommend them to everyone.
