Our home away from home is perfectly situated on the coast of Rhode Island making it an ideal location.
Enjoy the water, the history, the cuisine & great wineries.
The In-Law Suite with private entrance is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). 30 minutes to Newport & 20 mm to Block Island Ferry. You'll find a fire pit in the yard with Adirondack chairs where you'll able to enjoy the sunset over the pond and the beautiful display of stars at night.
The in-law suite offers the privacy you would expect when renting an entire home . However, the cost is more affordable.
Rental includes full use of yard and outdoor fire pit (also used by owner).
Rental includes exclusive barbecue, outdoor table, exclusive outdoor warm shower, beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, and 3 kayaks.
Walking distance (2 blocks) to pond where you can enjoy kayaking, clamming or just watch the sunset.
Kids can ride their bikes up and down block or play in back yard.
Enjoy a short walk to the beach, is just under a mile away.

This rental was perfect for our weekend stay. We were visiting our daughter at college and the three of us had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the in law suite and the surrounding neighborhood. The property was very clean. Linda was very friendly and accommodating! We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great week stay, everything was just as described in the listing. The house was beautiful, clean, a fabulous location, and Linda was a wonderful host.We loved the property, the use of the fire pit, kayaks, and being able to have our dog join us, she loved the fenced in yard and neighborhood for morning and evening walks. We will definitely be back!

This was our second time staying at this property! Both times it was incredibly clean, and comfortable. Ms. Linda was incredibly communicative and welcoming. The yard was pet friendly, and my pup had a great time running and playing. The fire pit was surrounded by comfy chairs and was just an overall relaxing, stay. We even made use of the Monopoly game on a rainy night which helped save the evening! Thank you!

Lovely stay. Beautiful place, great accommodations, close to everything. Linda, Larry and their family and dogs were awesome. My children loved spending time with them when they were around. The unit was outfitted with everything you could imagine, plenty of comfortable sleeping areas, tv, games, books, kids outdoor play areas. Kitchen had everything you could ask for. Had an awesome firepit / smores night with my 5 & 7 year old telling spooky stories. Dog loved it too! Thank you !!!

Was a very quiet restful vacation !!! Linda was a pleasure to communicate with. The house had everything and more !!! So comfortable and cozy. Very quiet home with central air . Beautifully yet simply decorated . Highly recommend to any family looking to enjoy the quiet charm of Charles Town in a lovely comfortable home .

Delightful location

We stayed 4 nights on a holiday weekend. The first two nights it was quiet and serene. The property owners’ family arrived and it became loud and felt claustrophobic at times. I had not anticipated so many people sharing the property. The location, neighborhood and owners are all good.

Centrally located and good for day trips

The property is central to Mystic and Newport which is great if you are planning day trips. You can then spend the evening/afternoon at the town beach or walking in the neighborhood. There was not a highchair or crib as mentioned in previous posts, so I would make sure to check with the owner of you relying on that. Overall a quiet neighborhood and the property met our needs and expectations.

Spacious and Sparkling Clean

This 3Br apartment was perfect for our family of 4. It was very nicely decorated and welcoming. Linda also responded quickly to any of our questions. The kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of towels and supplies for the bathroom. We also enjoyed sitting by the fire pit one evening. We highly recommend this home away from home to anyone looking for a relaxing place near the beaches.

Family Grad trip

The home and property were amazing . Beautiful and user friendly. Our family enjoyed the fire pit outside and the beautiful yard. Check in was easy and so was check out. The beach down the road was beautiful we enjoyed flying kites and looking for shells. I would recommend this home to anyone wanting a relaxing trip in Rhode Island. Thank you for letting us enjoy your home. 10 out of 10 with everything !!

Fully stocked and pet friendly

We had a wonderful time in this clean, fully stocked rental. They thought of everything, including beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, paper towels, tissues, shampoo and soaps. The location was convenient near a large salt pond and private beach. We enjoyed kayaking on the pond and the nice, fenced backyard. This was the first time we brought our dog on vacation with us and it worked out great. We plan to return next year.

I was initially concerned about the size and one bathroom for what turned out to be 5 adults and some pups, but it worked out absolutely perfectly. We enjoyed the fenced-in yard, grill, fire pit and it's close proximity to the beaches. Going off season was key with the pups! Linda was very nice and accommodating. A great place for a mini post Covid-19 vaccination family reunion/get away! Thank you!!

Blue Shutters Dream!

We enjoyed our stay at Linda and Larry’s home. The outdoor shower was glorious. The property was clean and well kept. The house was stocked with everything you would need for a weeks stay. We enjoyed entertaining in the yard and using the fire pit with the kids to make s’mores. The beds were comfortable and you can’t beat the location. Larry and Linda are very friendly and checked in on us but also let us have our privacy. We will be back!

Great end of Summer getaway!!

We have been going to c-town for years and when we found out our longtime house we rent wasn’t available in August I began searching for a new location. I came across this listing, it had great reviews and looked clean but initially I was reluctant because it was an in-law attached to a main house and wasn’t sure if we would like that. The bonus for us is that we could bring our dog so we went ahead and booked it and we are very happy we did. The place was very clean and welcoming and accommodated my family of 4 plus our dog very comfortably . Linda and Larry were awesome making sure we had everything we needed and the property has a great fenced in yard for the dog along with the outdoor shower, grill, fire pit and kayaks for the salt pond. The part I liked best was access to the private beach and parking. Also the house is in a great location for all sorts of outdoor activities including biking, kayaking, and fishing. We absolutely loved our week there and plan on booking it again next year!! Thank you Linda and Larry we look forward to seeing you next year!!

We had a delightful fall 2-day retreat in a very neat, clean and well organized in-law suite. Very cozy, yet roomy. Linda, our host, was very congenial with wonderful dining suggestions. She was very helpful if needed, yet not intrusive in the least.

RI Family Friendly Beach Getaway

Immaculate, spacious 3 bedroom with full kitchen and bath. Less than an hour drive to Newport. Walking distance to the beach. Kayaks, kids toys, and family games are complimentary. There‘s even a crib and highchair if you need one. WiFi and television, also. Lots of family friendly restaurants nearby, as well as a grocery store. Super safe street with speed bumps.
