Petit-Gite-Eymet is a detached, self-catering holiday cottage in a quiet location within Eymet, in the Dordogne region of France, and genuinely only 5 minutes walk from Eymet's centre and vibrant medieval square. Up to 4 people are comfortably accommodated in the cottage which has an open-plan living/dining area with vaulted ceiling, well-equipped kitchen, shower room and 2 bedrooms with generous sized beds and gorgeous bed linen. Shutters help to keep guests cool during the summer months whilst a wood-burning stove and electric heating means the cottage is cosy in cooler months. French doors lead to the south-facing dining terrace with BBQ, enclosed garden with lawn and mature trees. Brand new and opening in May 2019, the property has it's own swimming pool and sun deck with loungers and parasols. Outdoor games include table tennis and swing ball. Eymet holds a year-round weekly market, summertime night markets, gourmet evenings in the Park, a Christmas market, various festivals, fetes and music events throughout the year.
