OUR ACCOMMODATION:
In the FARM HOLIDAYS’ VILLAGE there are totally 9 self-catering APARTMENTS: 4 Large (two or three-rooms with 4-7 beds), 2 Medium sized (two-rooms with 3-5 beds), 3 Small (two-rooms with 2-4 beds), so perfect also to guest GROUPS (from 2 people up to almost 35 beds) - see also other ads on Vrbo, number 8548136 (Groups) - 6325739 (Large) - 10061705 (Mid size) - 6027792 (Small) - 10068695 (suite apartment Large) - 10067597 (special Tower) and also - 812663 - 453582. We are able to offer two different accommodation options:
- The RESIDENCE FORMULA where guests can enjoy the plesure of privacy and freedom within their apartments, all spread out in the large 3-hectare park (7.5 acres) that also offers various facilities for relaxation and recreation (including 2 small but panoramic pools with large solarium).
- The VILLAGE FORMULA where everyone has their own private home, but we provide our assistance more or less "active" to let you easily organize tours and personalized experiences within the extremely rich surrounding territory.

ACTIVITIES and EVENTS:
Our farm is an ideal place for groups and for those who want to organize various activities or events within this particular area of Italy. There are countless possible hikes (for all levels and all desires) ranging from wild mountains and extreme nature to the sweet sea full of comfort and services, from the charm of the Middle Ages to the flavors of our very rich food and wine and traditions, so that there are many possible sports or open air activities that we can offer you (see "Tours" below).
We provide our love and deep knowledge of this land and its history, in order to offer you customized itineraries and stays. For more than 40 years we have done exclusively this work with dedication and professionalism and nothing is left to chance.
For tourists there is also a well-stocked tourism library in the main languages with different brochures, road maps and trail maps.

RELAX in OUR GARDENS:
The location is also ideal for those people who like just to relax and enjoy our wide and historical gardens, with its small pool&solarium and the other equipments available.
In fact, the de Pompeis' villa is an ancient and prestigious 1600's family estate, with precious nineteenth-century gardens. In our farm Holidays' Village you can enjoy also several small and suggestive courtyards overlooking on the various apartments, all with private entrance and private garden/patio. The whole Agriturismo stands on a prehistoric archaeological park and it is possible to see, among the vegetation, ancient and precious Menhirs and original finds from the area itself (including some authentic Roman pieces of columns). Other "romantic notes" are the ancient Torretta and the 19th century Moorish arches of the main building. In the evening all the outdoor areas are lighted by numerous scenographic lights, which will accompany you during the cool evening walks. The various gardens are inhabited by several small farm animals and pets, which run freely within the park. The whole area is flat and is surrounded by a large countryside that produces local specialties, including an excellent wine of which we are proud.

ABRUZZO: THE PLACE OF EXTREMES !
- LANDSCAPES & BIODIVERSITIES: this is one of the regions of Europe with the highest biodiversity, which is able to offer from glacial wrecks and archaic landscapes (in its high mountains), to palm trees and species typical of the "warm Mediterranean coast" characteristic of southern Italy. So during your hikes and activities the landscape, the nature, the characteristics of the villages, the gastronomy and the traditions vary incredibly in a very short time and in an extraordinary mix of shapes and colors.
- NATURE: Abruzzo is called the "Green Heart of Europe" because it has the highest concentration of National Parks and Nature Reserves (for a total of about 1/3 of its territory), thus preserving an extremely wild landscape and a unique fauna and flora (!) in Europe.
- BEACHES: besides the high mountains, in a really short distance there are more than 130 km of sea cost (ensured by its 9 “Blue Flags”), mostly with comfortable sandy beaches but also rock beaches and high cliffs just ending in the blue of the sea. Our Sea Reserves can be wild and unknown, while on the contrary the sandy beaches close to the coast cities are very equipped and comfortable for a more relaxed tourism. Furthermore the characteristic "Trabocchi" (old wooden fishing machines built on stilts in the sea) offer particular suggestions also hosting tourists for suggestive lunches or dinners based on freshly caught fish and enjoying the sight of the blue of the sea or, in the evening, of the thousand fascinating lights of the Abruzzo coast.
- HISTORICAL VILLAGES: Abruzzo has been an extremely strategic area throughout the Middle Ages and still preserves an incredible number of historical centers, abbeys, castles and hermitages (among the first places in the "Club of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy" with 19 historic villages mentioned). Its beauty does not end here, in fact all these places are often set within majestic and unspoiled natural landscapes.
And for those who want even more ... our Farm house is only 1.5 hours from Rome. Perfect location, therefore, also for easy day trips in the "Eternal City", without the stress and chaos of those who stay there all the time.
- GASTRONOMY, WINE & TRADITION: our rich history has also been preserved through a very ancient and extremely varied food and wine tradition, ranging from typical offers of the coast to those of the mountains, often offering "strange fusions" between fish and mountain products, as only in Abruzzo can be found with such extremes.
This wealth handed down from our long history, has been enriched even more thanks to the majestic nature of Abruzzo and to its varied biodiversity that has been able to enrich even more the offer of food and recipes, with as many as 148 typical Abruzzo' products recognized in the world ... a real record!

STRATEGIC POSITION:
Our facility is located in the "Heart of Abruzzo", in a strategic geographic and road position, perfect for those who want to visit and enjoy all this extraordinary offer and variety of the territory. We are in fact very close to the high and wild mountains of two large National Parks ("Majella" and "Gran Sasso"), but only 30 minutes from the beaches (or 40 minutes for both of the 2 Marine Reserves). Half an hour from Pescara (big commercial and tourist city) with its international airport and only 1.5 hours from Rome (possibility also of a fast direct bus shuttle, with a stop just 3 minutes from our house) and about 2 hours from its two major international airports. We are also a couple of minutes from various restaurants (with discounted prices - the first just 350 meters away !) or from a great take-away that prepares fresh and delicious ready-to-eat food, few minutes from some supermarkets (the first just 600 meters away) and from various other services. Besides we are not far from characteristic medieval villages or important monuments.

TOUR (just some examples of what is possible):
- Naturalistic hikes: from the high mountains to the simple easy trekking within the 3 nearby National Parks; along the wild coasts of the sea or in our typical rugged and rocky canyons or in the cool wooded valleys with small rivers;
- Outdoor sports: mountain bikes, e-bikes or road bikes (also along the famous and spectacular "sea bike path", one of the longest in Europe), cayack (particular are the easy canoe trips along one of the cleanest and pristine rivers in Italy: the Tirino), horseback or donkey rides, paragliding, climbing, golf, etc.
- Trips to beaches & baths: easy tour to enjoy the shallow and warm sandy beaches away from it all or to visit and bathe in our Sea Reserves, even better if combining the trips to the visit of the typical "Trabocchi" of Abruzzo. Even small boat tours along the coast, under the beautiful high cliffs overlooking the sea or along the "Trabocchi coast".
- Medieval tours: discovering our amazing mountain historical villages, or on the trail of castles, hermitages or medieval abbeys to be reached through beautiful and short walks in nature.
- Winter activities: "ski safari", snowshoe hikes up to mountain huts with typical food, cross-country skiing, ... all organized and assisted by professional guides in some modern ski areas of national importance.
- Food, wine and typical restaurants' Tours: ancient cellars that produce wine or sparkling wine with tasting of aperitifs, tours of restaurants and places of production of typical local food and wine specialties (as many as 148 typical Abruzzese specialities recognized worldwide).
- Vespa tours along the wild mountain roads of our Parks, in unique settings (often movie sets of important films).
