The Blue House in the Heart of Sicily between Piazza Armerina and Caltagirone

The Villa Romana del Casale in Piazza Armerina, the famous ceramics of Caltagirone and the excavations of Morgantina are really just minutes from this delightful house in the middle of nature and in a central position to all the best destinations in Sicily like the ancient city of Enna. the Etna volcano in Catania, Ragusa and the Baroque of the Val di Noto, the temples of Agrigento, the millennial Syracuse, the beautiful Taormina, Monreale, Palermo.

The accommodation
The house, recently renovated, surrounded by lush nature is close to the best destinations in Sicily.
Two minutes from the small and cozy town, 10 minutes from Piazza Armerina, Caltagirone and the excavations of Morgantina.
After each excursion, all the comforts of the house await you where you can relax and enjoy the peace and coolness of the clean air of an unspoiled countryside.
And if you do not want to cook you can take advantage of the numerous local culinary offer derived from an authentic rural tradition made of fresh materials of the day.
In short, a holiday in an authentic Sicilian place, where to combine cultural moments with moments of relaxation in a mix of colors and unique flavors.

Interior of the house:
The house is suitable for families or groups of up to 9 people placed in this way:
First floor apartment: max 6 people
Ground floor studio: max 3 people

Going up to the first floor with a large external staircase, from a red door you enter a large room with a dining corner, a sitting area with a large LCD TV with Blu Ray player, a bunk bed and for 2 other guests a double sofa bed . Then you find the double bedroom, the fully equipped kitchen communicating with the dining area, the comfortable bathroom with shower.
All furnished and cared for with love, simplicity and good taste.
The room is cooled in summer from fan to ceiling, in cold periods it is heated with wall radiators.
The apartment will be reserved for you if you stay from 4 up to 6 people.

On the ground floor, however, from a large hall equipped with table and chairs, you will access a private room equipped with everything. Sleeping area with double bed and sofa bed, kitchenette, LCD TV and a large comfortable bathroom with large shower. The room is very cool in summer and heated in cold periods.
This room will be reserved for guests staying in 2 or 3 persons maximum.

Outdoors:
Picturesque house, with large adjacent lawn of about 10,000 square meters, which you can freely use in every corner. If you want you will have at your disposal the barbecue area and for your children in the garden and in the wide spaces of the structure, the play area with swing, football goal, basket for basketball, ping pong table and a nice swimming pool with large wooden solarium for moments of pure relaxation and fun.
Surrounded by greenery and surrounded by sinuous hills full of ancient olive groves that produce a precious and genuine olive oil that you can taste in the local cuisine.

Interaction with guests
This is a single apartment entirely dedicated to guests, flanked by the owners' home.
Other Things to Highlight
We will provide everything you need for your stay, sheets, towels, tablecloths, hair dryer, iron, etc. and on request cradle, baby bed, high chair for baby food, etc.
House Rules
There are no particular rules to follow except those of normal civil life and respect for things inside and outside the home.
Summary
The house is surrounded by some houses hidden from view. There is no source of harsh noises. The town is very close (about 1 km) and therefore, if desired, can be reached with a healthy walk on foot.
A ride around
The village is quiet and, except for the summer, has about 5000 inhabitants. It is equipped with supermarkets and several dining options, such as restaurants (with entertainment and dancing), pizzerias, pubs.
Coming from Caltagirone, in a north-easterly direction, you can gaze up the enchanting valley of Catania surrounded by soft and incomparable hills, which in spring are dressed in the green of the numerous fields of wheat, while in the background the whitewashed Etna volcano stands out of snow.
