This home is on the Main Canadian Lake on a lot and 1/2 with 175' of lake frontage. CL is a private resort area with 11 square miles of rolling hills; 700 acres of all-sports lakes with five beaches, three golf courses, tennis courts, pickel ball, softball, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, disc golf, campground, music pavilion, airstrip volleyball and sledding hills. Because it is a private resort only owners can launch their watercraft on the all sports lakes.

We have been coming to Canadian Lakes for a few years now and this weekend did not disappoint. Our stay was outstanding. The house was glorious and the view of the lake from the deck was like a screen saver. Elaine had excellent boat rental and golf recommendations and was a great help. She went way beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Thanks Elaine and Canadian Lakes for a wonderful weekend! We will be back, Dan

This is our 5th year staying at Elaine’s beautiful home for our annual golf trip, and we always enjoy our stay. It’s a great house in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The home is sparkling clean, very well maintained and equipped and has plenty of room for 6 of us to spread out. It has a beautiful deck with a great view of the lake and we enjoy morning coffee and relaxation there. Beautiful kitchen has everything and more that you need for meal prep. Elaine is a great host and is always quick to respond to any questions we might have.

Great stay short notice to book since another property double booked and canceled on are 8 man golf trip. Elane the property owner was so nice and helpful to book us at her beautiful property with great accommodations much appreciated!!!

I will say first of all the property is as advertised. It’s a beautiful home great location with all amenities as described.A negative side of our trip was going without a dryer for the whole week because of mechanical issues with the machine. On top of that we had only two days that the oven worked during our stay because of a defective thermostat.The owner tried to make the best of the situation by having a repair man scheduled, but he could not fix the problem in the dryer. Going in the lake two or three times a day for our grandkids made for many wet towels that could not be dried. Spending time at the laundromat on vacation is not ideal. After speaking with the owner numerous times about our disappointment, she was very frustrated with all the issues she’s having at her rental and finally perceived my frustrations and offered one day of a refund. One of the challenges we have had is determining what the lake is like when you book a property like this. There is a wonderful dock at the property that our grandkids enjoyed jumping off of. The lake had churned up weeds because of all the boat action that’s going on every day from 10-6 except on Thursday which is a no wake day. We love to swim and float on inflatables on vacation and we did that but the seaweed that was floating around us while we were swimming made the lake experience less than desirable. As you walk into the lake once you get to waist deep, the bottom is covered in weeds as well.

Family Get Together

We really enjoyed the house, deck, large yard and fire pit. The house has three levels for sleeping and privacy. Beautiful view of the lake which was very quiet all week. There is no beach but the water was clear and mostly sandy near the shore. There was much seaweed just beyond that. We caught 6 large mouth bass from the dock which was very nice. Nearby grocery store, Ace hardware, a few restaurants and convenience store. The kitchen was set up with everything you would need. However the oven was not working properly on the first day and was not fixed during our stay. The dryer was also very finnicky to start.

6 friends stayed for 3 nights. Fabulous lake front home! All the amenities of home, couldn’t ask for more! Elaine has a wonderful property close to many golf courses and fun activities. 5 STAR, Highly Recommended!

Can't wait to return!

A very memorable weekend. There were 8 of us and there was plenty of room to get around. Three floors ( one up, one down from main) with a full bath on each. Caught plenty of fish just from dock including pike and bass - lots of panfish. Our one rule was no COOKING, but there are enough places to go out for meals. The fire pit sat all of us comfortably. I will definitely reserve again next year!

Excellent!

Our stay at Elaine’s property was wonderful. She has a beautiful home on the lake in a great community. Elaine was very helpful and responsive leading up to and during our stay. We really enjoyed the community’s golf course, The Royal, which was in great shape, especially for early April. The community pool, hot tub and sauna were all great. We were also able to enjoy some time with a bonfire overlooking the lake. Overall, we all had a great time and would highly recommend this property! Thank you Elaine!

Prefect spot for fall colors

I booked this property for a group of friends meeting up before a wedding. There was no way of knowing it but we booked this at the perfect time for the fall colors. the property is easy to find and a great accommodation for any group or family. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood this spot is a wonderful location on the lake. With multiple living rooms this was perfect for catching up and playing games. Large open concept kitchen into dinning room is perfect for family meals and conversation while prepping. The views of the lake are incredible from the moment you walk in the front door, the first thing we wanted to do was walk out on the big deck and see the cute fire pit. Its easy to see how this property would be great for every season!

Great place to relax on the lake

Our family and friends enjoyed staying here for the past 8 days. We rented a pontoon boat for the week and it made fun on the lake even better. Highly recommend the house for future and memorable vacations!

Beautiful experience

Our family really enjoyed this home. My husband and son loved the fishing although they were disappointed that the dock was not available yet as it was early spring. Everyone loved the firepit and the view of the lake. The owner was always available to answer any questions in a timely manner.

Great Ice Fishing

Everything was as expected and easy! Elaine did a great job communicating and helping problem solve when we forgot to leave our cleaning fee. The guys caught some pike, bass, and bluegill around the drop-off right in front of the house. Thanks for having us!

An excellent ice fishing getaway

My group of 6 guys have had an annual tradition of ice fishing northern Michigan in January and were looking for a change of venue for our 10th iteration of the tradition when we came upon this property. It was excellent! The house is very spacious for our group, allowing us all to sleep comfortably at night and gather during the day for meals and socializing. It was extremely clean and well-cared for, and Elaine provided a lot of amenities as well. She was also very communicative and responded quickly any time I reached out. The location for ice fishing was perfect, since there's a nice drop-off just yards from the shore where the pike and bass were biting. It was the perfect serene and relaxing spot. Would love to try it out in the summer next!

Great, comfortable home with beautiful view of the lake!

Elaine was a great communicator! Actually called and spoke to me over the phone twice! Not many people want to actually speak anymore, just email or text! The property is VERY nice, the neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. Lake view is gorgeous. We booked it for just two nights, because our son was getting married at Tullymore Golf Resort. This home was perfectly situated and made it easy on us as we hosted the Rehearsal Dinner at Antlers and then hosted the wedding at Tullymore. I recommend Canadian Lakes to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue area!
